My hubby is white American, and my family is Jamaican, So it's just beautiful to see the love Alex & his family have for yoir culture, as my hubby does as well. My husband and I just celebrated our one year anniversary The biggest lesson that I would encourage you with is to put Christ at the center of your lives Things will happens in your lives, whether external factors, frustrations, etc, & it's essential during those times to remember that your love is stronger than those forces. Also, surround yourselves with people who genuinely want good for you & who you can learn from.
You will encounter negative people, but don't allow them to come between your love. Actually, the moment you sense someone's intention isn't for your good, peacefully distance yourself from that person..
