This was definitely by far one of the most emotional episodes of Cold Case. It breaks my heart how cruel people can be, especially to someone so young and innocent, just because of jealousy.
I cry at every single episode, but this one always takes the cake me for. He truly loved her they may have been young teens. But even as an adult and going to the lake and seeing her ghost and looking like he wanted to run down and hug her while simultaneously looking like he wanted to cry as an adult 😢💔.
I finally found it for free on Roku tv, after looking in UA-cam and Amazon prime. I never realized why I could never find it. The music in this episode really gets me though
@@XxadamlambertfanxX29 I've downloaded the complete seasons years ago by torrent on The Pirate Bay. I still had in an external drive. I've sow this tv show when I was a kid here in Chile and one day I watched a UA-cam video and the rest is story
This was based on the Soria case out of Nevada in 1999. The location of the attack was based on the Zodiac killings of the 70's. Most of the attacks took place at known Lovers' Lanes.
This was such a sad episode, but it was also unique as it was one of the rare times in CC that a heartbroken boyfriend or husband was left behind (it's usually a wife or girlfriend). There were only a few other times this was done (It's Raining Men, Forever Blue, The War at Home and The Road).
The ending was especially sad in this episode because it's not one of the detectives who see the "ghost" of the victim, but the guy who loved her that she left behind. Double sad. Plus, seeing Scotty break up with Elisa, already knowing that she'll take her own life soon after, is tragic.
Scotty dumped Elisa that's why she committed suicide. It's obvious he never loved her but he just wanted to help her because she was sick but then he got fed up.I think she was really a childhood friend of him and not his girlfriend.
I love Cold Case. Especally the endings. It‘s like you can talk to your old yourself, or the victims. It would be very cool, to do this in Real Life. Or, the victims could only Rest in peace, when their case is closed, or they can see, the Others are doing well.
This episode reminds me so much of the real life Carla Walker case that was recently solved. Pretty sure it’s the case that inspired this episode, which makes me even more emotional! 😢
Scotty finally left Elisa giving her a dispassionate goodbye kiss on the forehead. They never looked like a romantic couple but just good friends. There was no chemistry between them. I think he deserved a better girlfriend.
While Lovers' Lanes are convenient, this is why it is not a good idea to be there. Too many people became victims because the couple is so engrossed in each other that they become unaware of their surroundings. It is a predator's hunting ground.
In Melbourne Australia a real 'lovers lane' case was solved after nearly forty years. The boyfriend was shot. The girlfriend raped. The monster got 31 years jail.
Just on what we saw in the episode, that guy ended or seriously messed up 6 lives. And it was said that the guy assaulted a bunch of other women too. One of the most repugnant murderers in the run of Cold Case
Season 1 had a lot of lousy episodes, but this was a great way to end the season on a high note and set up the far superior season 2. The sheer horror of the crime and the devastation it left behind are really shown off well in this ending.
This was the GREATEST SHOW EVERRRR! Sure wish they would bring it back. And didn't they use the BEST music in there episodes. 🤔🤔 Hmmm...Maybe we should all come together and write the network to bring it back with the same cast. Just a thought guys. 🙂 Cause as comments show..I am CLEARLY not the only one who wants it. Right?
can someone explain to me why Wayne got arrested? in season 1 episode 4, Churchgoing People, the son witnessed the parent commit the murder and was instructed to help cover it up. he wasn’t arrested because he was a minor i’m assuming. here, the parent also committed the murder and the kid witnessed it. why is it different? is it because he attacked the boyfriend?
The end of every Cold Case episode is so damn heartwrenching. A great touch to every last one of them.
IcemanSlice I know what you mean
@@Amazingday22 I look forward to the perp walk through the squad room and they walk them down the hall to the detention cell.
I have re-watched the entire series countless times and this is one of the episodes that makes me sob every time.
When the too perfect boyfriend was good all along.
This was definitely by far one of the most emotional episodes of Cold Case. It breaks my heart how cruel people can be, especially to someone so young and innocent, just because of jealousy.
I hear you. So sickening how someone can do something so twisted.
Actually that’s what it supposed to do
😢😢😢😢
No fue por celos, el hombre era un violador
The way that girls ghost waves at her boyfriend. It kills me Everytime.
Tristezza Lamento Luciano me too
@-Camie Utsushimi- yep. Full of regret

I hate that this show can’t be put on streaming services because of music rights...but the music was so necessary to each case
I finally found it for free on Roku tv, after looking in UA-cam and Amazon prime. I never realized why I could never find it. The music in this episode really gets me though
I actually found a guy who sold me the complete series on DVD with all of the music in tact; it cost me about $40 years ago online but so worth it!
its on prime video now AND its HD !! been binging for a week
It’s on Roku Channel and HBO Max now.

My favourite part is Lily alone in the bed with her pet cat and the way she stares out.

youre missing stand up and holler episode, the boyfriend is left alone sad as well

Brilliant observation.
And don't forget Lily relationship with Kite

This was a heartbreaking episode.
Ending with Stevie....perfect!!!!!
***** Of course...sorry forgot to mention.

I like it when one of the detectives prints CLOSED on the file box lid. Then, puts the box on the shelf.
I miss this show
musicloverb1 all 7 seasons are on 123movies love
Spoiler: Eve Kendall was actually Mae Whitman who voices Katara from Avatar and Rose from American Dragon
she also voices tinkerbell
She was also President Whitmore's daughter in Independence Day when she was only 8 years old.
Mae Whitman is one of the greatest actresses ever! Shes been in alot of shows and movies❤

This was one of my favorite episodes
My favorite episode alongside "Offender".
Such a beautiful song :]

There's a series of murders that took place on the Colonial Parkway in Virginia during the mid/late 1980's. Still unsolved.
Mae Whitman... who knew...
This one always messed with me hard. Makes me want to get my hands on the sleazy bastard father.
Just on what we saw in the episode, that guy ended or seriously messed up 6 lives. And it was said that the guy assaulted a bunch of other women too. One of the most repugnant murderers in the run of Cold Case
an innocent man was jailed for their crimes

You think so? I'm just the opposite: I thought season one was one of their strongest seasons, while season two was one of their worst.
jim larkin should get the death penalty, wayne should at the very least get life in jail
I can see Rush at 80 still living alone with her cats. Future crazy cat lady right there.
A comment that really shows a lack of understanding for her character.
this is my favorit e cold case
fuck, the father and the son have are tramendous actors.
if they act good enough for us to hate them in the show im pretty impressed
Season one was the best season of Cold Case
true
Season one and season five are my favorites
I had'nt seen the episode in a while. Your a big fan of this show like me! :-)
This episode was brutal all the way around. The girl that Scotty broke up with, isn't she the one that committed suicide soon after?
Yeah
Are you believe that if were real Scotty would date with a girl ugly and crazy like Elisa? The writers should hate Scotty.

Of course you're not the only one. One of my biggest wishes: the producers bringing Cold Case back
But it's kinda impossible
Seems till we can convince them.....all we have are reruns. And they are always good too. For now.
It's on a tv network called Start tv
@@itsmequeenbee235 in Brazil you watch the channel A&E

@IcyArtist It still counts as 2 murders since he was in association with it oddly enough.

Okay nvm. I rewatched the episode and it was because he wasn’t a minor. He was 18 and an accomplice to murder.
The son assisted in the rapes by bringing girls home to his father
Wayne was an adult and an accomplice in sexual assaults and a murder.
Attempted murder of the boyfriend, accomplice to sexual assaults and the murder of the girlfriend. Wayne was also described as being 18 so an adult
@lamarimpala
oh lol idk why i thought it was 76 i dont watch this one much its to sad with the rapes i only watch the end
