The Ram is the easily the best car in GT4. For points farming. For some reason the game groups its performance with cars in the 30-50hp range like the Midget, Panda and Honda S500, despite being fast enough to compete with cars around 150hp. Thats why it always gets 200 A-Spec points.
With old games and consoles. CRT TV's are interlaced scan, where most stuff currently is progressive scan. So changing your TV to 1080i should help the visuals. Though you might want to get a RetroTink to play the old pre HDMI consoles on modern TV's.

@@longbowxmkii Retro stuff has had a huge revival. So there's plenty of info on youtube about getting old consoles running well on new TV's.
