I have to say I did a Five Guys vlog yesterday and I personally thought my experience was extremely positive, but, it’s all opinion. Great vlog as always.

In my opinion 5 Guys is the best burger chain out there - i have been to gourmet burger places but the 5 Guys burger is still my favourite - maybe the milkshake did weird things to your tastebuds, maybe you just had a bad burger, or maybe it's just one of those things, but really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy it - i LOVE it 😁

I love five guys but man, they are expensive. I stopped to get a hot dog, small fries and a small drink for my son the other day... $17.55!! Really pricey but I love their burgers and fries. Great quality.
That is really pricey Mark , the fries and milkshake we had were good but the burger & hotdog .. not so good 🤔

Me and mrs love 5 guys I have a burger with tomato and mushrooms and you get a load of fries the milkshakes are lovely but you get what you pay for

The standard have dropped sightly flavours are not quite as good as they use to be when they first came to the UK they got it on point. But they are STILL better than ALL the other fast food restaurants by a country mile.

1. Hamburger is just without cheese, its just the original name which comes from Hamburg. The cheeseburger obviously has cheese on it.
2. I like that you told the truth for what you experienced and did not try to lie or force yourselves to like it. I personally like Five Guys but it is expensive and depends on branch to branch as i know some great and terrible ones.
3. Try the Cajun Fries next time.
4. They dump a handful of extra fries at the bottom of the bag at every store, its a five guys staple.
5. I have tried one of the branches in America and i can say the USA does worse fries, but way more flavourful/fresher toppings and meat. Thats just based upon one experience i had though.
6. I personally see Five Guys as an occasional treat, maybe once every few months or so, too expensive to get regularly but its in between a gourmet/fast food style burger so kind of expected for the price range. Its definetly not the best burger ever, but a massive upgrade on the usual McDonalds, Burger King etc.
7. The Milkshakes can sometimes contain nearly 1000 calories depending on your mix ins.

They aren’t overprice you get what you pay for and what you are getting is fresh ingredients with no mystery meat like McDonald’s

I've never had a five guys but my nephews have. Might it have been better value if you had added mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, onion, etc etc? I think you are meant to ask for the toppings and sauces to your liking
Hi Catherine, we could’ve added the extra toppings but we wanted to get a taste of the actual burger without the additional flavours
The meat was dry and tasteless & for the price it should be better quality really ❤️🙏🏻👍🏻

Hamburger is from "Hamburg the city" apparently , and nothing to do with ham. I was confused till I found out too. 🙂 We went in the Liverpool one last year, saw the food, took a look at the prices, and walked straight out.

Great video! It looked ok but not worth the price. I prefer to make my own burgers with stuff from Iceland -southern fried chicken breaded fillets with the smoked cheese slices makes a proper tasty burger for alot less.

I've been twice, definitely over priced
Last time I went I asked for plain fries
They gave me the Cajun fries, it was that busy I couldn't be bothered back up.

For this kind of money its not to much to expect some kind of flavour. But alas nothing.a shame. My favourite is still McDonald's. Thank you again. Mark

Guys I don't rate five guys. Been 3 times and that's because wen we go into town my teenage daughter wants to go there. I would rather go maccies or Burger King but even Burger King prices have shot through the roof. I know you get what you pay for so if you want a nice big juicy Burger then rather go to a restaurant

peer pressure tells people these are the places to go to.. it's bullcrap.. none of these big chains care about the food they put out.. go to a local burger or kebab/chip shop who rely on giving you good food so you go back to them

Needs ketchup on your hot dogs . looks like our 7,11's or Max's ,gas station , or convenience store food .Not cheap that do . I was going to say cheap food , but that's not cheap. Looks like macs food , maybe you need a filet of fish Colin,ha-ha. Of to rotten Ron's .Shouldn't knock the place it isn't that bad . Tried five guys myself recently because of the hype a will be the only time,thought the burgers were very bland in taste and I’ve had similar tasting skin on fries from Lidl cooked in my air fryer. Overpriced and underwhelmed.

I was dying to try five guys for about 2 years and one night not long ago my wife went to town and I was staying in and decided to get a Uber (five guys) and Iv never been more disappointed in my life!

I've only been to Five Guys once, but I wasn't impressed. We're spoiled in Colorado with a burger place called Good Times. Really good quality and flavor.
I don't get the hype over In-n-Out either. They've started to expand out of California quite a bit. The food is very plain and boring, but people go nuts for it. Chick-fil-A is very good, but their politics are... not good, so I tend to avoid it because I don't want to support them. The one that I really like is Whataburger, but we don't have them in Colorado. I've eaten there in Texas. I do think there are plans to open one, but it's going to be kind of far away.
That's a really expensive milkshake! Where do they get off charging those prices?

@@TracyandColinTheFoodies In-n-Out isn’t horrible, it just seems really overhyped. I guess if you want Good Times you’ll have to visit Colorado! Or Wyoming, there are two in Wyoming. You don’t want to go there though (at least not to Sheridan or Gillette).

Tried 5 guys once, never again. Like you say expected more. They always throw an extra scoop of fries in the bag.
Had one of the new American burgers at Wetherspoons recently and was surprsingly impressed. 6oz with 2 patties, American cheese, gherkin. Around £8 with chips, soft drink. Bargain.

No this was not for me ! Over priced. Tracy a ham burger even though it’s beef is called a hamburger as it originated from Hamburg in Germany, nothing to do with the meat!

Well I thought that this meal was on the expensive side. 🤨 The burger and dogs looked kinda thrown together and the taste- or rather lack of it must have been disappointing. As Tracy said it was an outing and the milkshake was great but at £5:25 it should be 😁 At least the dogs were not mushy. 😂 Thanks for this Folks. Ps. Me and the Mrs love 5 guys! We love the big juicy patties and all the different toppings you want. The fries are awesome 👌 Also we share a drink as it's bottomless refills, lol.
