Asta and Yuno register for the exam, and learn that Yuno is already known for receiving the four-leaf-clover grimoire. They are ridiculed by the noble candidates. The exam hall is filled with Anti-birds, who are attracted to people with less magic. Asta is pestered by a flock of Anti-birds, who ignore Yuno. He is approached by Sekke Bronzazza, an arrogant nobleman who offers to help Asta with the exam. As the exam progresses, Yuno outperforms the other candidates; Asta fails, and Sekke shows off his skill at his expense. The final test is a one-on-one duel; Sekke chooses Asta as his opponent, revealing his contempt for Asta's lack of magic and his own desire to become a Magic Knight for the easy lifestyle. As the duel begins, Sekke summons a magic shield in the hope that Asta will embarrass himself trying to get past it; Asta summons his sword and defeats Sekke, however, repeating his promise to achieve his dream of becoming the Wizard King.

Just a note- Asta doesn’t notice the five leaf and due to how shabby his gimore is and just how rare a 5 leaf is others can’t see it and many don’t believe that it actually exists so he isn’t noticed for that throughout the series. This is excluding the gimore tower dude and a few others
I hope you'd continue watching cause it gets better and better. I'm telling you, the small arcs that you're gonna watch is just a part of the bigger arc. It's like one big arc, everything is connected since ep. 1

as a bit of a weirdo/misfit myself and the majority of my friends i really love the black bulls, i hope you are ready for them!
You're gonna get pretty familiar with the names because all of them are significant. Tabata was very purposeful in picking names (often in other languages) based on their meanings.
Without spoiling too much, "Yami" means "darkness" in Japanese, Asta means "star", Vermillion is a particularly fiery shade of red (hence most of the Vermillions being fire mages), and so on.
Sekke made a mistake by choosing Asta as his opponent. Not because of his anti magic, he had no way of knowing about that. He didn't appear to have any magic and wouldn't be able to put up a fight from what he's seen. This is an exhibition, not a tournament. Winning isn't going to guarantee you a spot in a squad. You need time to show off your skills.
Yeah I was so curious like, I thought Yuno would be the one fighting Asta (I like to believe that if Sekke haven't picked Asta, Yuno would have fought him)
@@AnjuSingh-dm4eq He quite possibly would. Yuno would recognize Asta as a threat and the possibility he would lose. He's likely the only applicant who could understand that.
On the other hand there is fighting his rival at this stage of their development. I'm not sure which way he would go with this. But yeah, if no one else he likely would of paired with Asta.
One of the captains had some thoughts on Asta's sword. You might of missed that.

This you find out about the black bull manga but was left out in the anime, The captain of the black bulls was from Japan.

Jeeology I’ve always wondered why Gordon, of all the Bulls, is accompanying Yami here. Almost anyone else aside from Gray would have made more sense. Was there ever an explanation for this?

You should be able to get the names down fast with black clover because there’s a lot of naming patterns and conventions in the show that make it way easier to remember despite the large cast

Yeah... The GD... currently my favourite, but, not gonna lie, it'll probably take you a while to actually like the squad properly... I mean, you'll know by their ranks that they're the posh squad with the high standards and the clashing ideals and the cockiness... so they'll take time developing, even if you claim you'd want to be on the squad right now.
And I love Captain World Tree XD. The more you find out the more interesting he becomes.

Dude I love your reactions however, at the pace you are going at now it will at least take you at least 3 years to reach episode 150.
Here's some maths for the people who don't believe me -
4 ep a month, 2 ep in 15 days, 1 month = 30 days, 1 year has 12 months, 4 X 12 = 48, 150 ÷ 48 =3.125
