Thank you for the kind words everyone! Thank you Bryan for your kindness and allowing me to share a part of my story! God bless you all ☺️
You are so welcome! It was our pleasure.
Born Catholic - raised by my devout Catholic aunties - became an atheist - nearly fell for Islam's falsehood - came back home - and now fighting the big fight against Islam which is not a religion but a political ideology.
So glad you didn't fall for the big lie of Islam! 🙏🏻
I am a catholic born and brought up in India now living in usa. When I went to church here I felt the same thing Ramya, but I didn't stop going because of that. I am so happy for you and pray for you.
Born and raised Catholic, how I love Jesus, I appreciate much the sacraments, thankful for my parents' good example, I loved my teachings since my childhood, do have a continuous study until now and experienced little or big conversions in my life every now and then..thank you for sharing your big conversion story.
Excited to listen to this story of conversion! Thank you for your beautiful channel God bless you both! 🙏🙏💕
You are welcome. Thanks for watching!
Wow! Great testimony! Bright, articulate, beautiful. This was a joy to listen to!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much ☺️
Similar story with me. Was raised Catholic as a child, but didn't really know anything about it. Fell away as a teenager, but I got into New Age spirituality and practices when I was like 12 or 13. Later it led to more weird stuff like psychedelic drug use in my late teens and early 20s. I got super into Hindu and Buddhist spirituality, was mixing tons of things and ended up diving into mediumship, spirit guides, ayahuasca, and all sorts of wild stuff in my mid 20s that just ruined my life. Had some horrible breakups that and experiences that finally led me to pray to God for the first time since I was like 8. I remember picking up a Bible in 2016, but still didn't know anything yet and didn't understand different Christian denominations. I was far away from thinking I'd end up back in Catholicism. Eventually all the occult stuff led to some severe mental illness and psychosis. I ended up hospitalized 10 times and the doctors said I'd never get better. That being said, in the midst of it all something saved me and I still prayed to Jesus. I didn't know where it would lead and I had some experiences with some psycho Protestant pastors who tried to convince me I was possessed by demons. I almost got involved in a cult at one point as well. But somehow I kept going and it was Bishop Barron's book on Catholicism, Fr. Mike Schmitz and God's guidance that somehow led me to look into the Church. I decided to give it a shot being Catholic a few years ago and I'm still here. By the grace of God, who knew I'd end up back in the religion of my father and grandparents after all the crazy wandering. Thank you Lord!
time to deepen your faith by reading a Catholic Study bible. then early church fathers. then apologetics 🙏🏻
@@healhands5760 Way ahead of you, brother.
@@theconsciousvibeif you don’t have the Holy Ghost you will be stuck in catholism
Welcome home! Wow! What an amazing testimony. What a journey. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Praise God that he has led you home.❤️🙏🏻😇🙌
Tricia, if you had the Holy Spirit, you would be Catholic. But your anger and your hatred and inability to just have a respectful conversation without insults that makes us wonder. Either you don't really have the Spirit, or you are a very hurt individual and the Spirit is trying to work in you the best he can with the little room he has.. Either way, are we still love you and pray for you.
The part about the bible sounds familiar. At the time, i had a protestant bible, and i was raised Catholic. Anyway, during a bible study, the topic of hanukkah came up, and i was flipping through my bible looking for maccabees. I said to myself, "What's wrong with this bible?" I didn't know the difference until that day. Im thankful for it because i went down a rabbit hole finding out what happened to the other books. Why were they removed and by whom. Fast forward, I have a full complete Catholic bible. Praise the LORD 🙌🏾 ✝️
May God be praised..🙏🙏🙏
What a beautiful testimony. God Bless, Viva Cristo Rei.
Great testimony! Thanks Bryan!
Amazing! ☝🏼✝️🇻🇦
Some information.
St. Thomas the Apostle was believed to have preached in India 🇮🇳. St. Francis Xavier is on display in Goa. Southeastern India 🇮🇳 has many Catholics. The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in Vailankanni. A shrine was built there. Muslims ☪️, Hindus 🕉 and Buddhists ☸ noticed miracles at that shrine.
Some of the Indian 🇮🇳 priests here in the Bay Area 🌉 are from Goa or the Southeastern area.
Welcome 🙏 to this convert.
Amen!
Thank you! I need to pray for my family’s conversion. St. Thomas has to be my helper! Whenever we go to the panhandle, my honey and I go to St. Thomas by the Sea and love our Indian priest there! He’s a massive blessing to us!
@@acatholicbeachbunny Happy 😊 to know! I pray that conversions happen. I know a few couples 💑, Catholic + Buddhists ☸ and Catholic + Hindu 🕉. The non Catholic spouses agreed 👍 to 1 weddings 💒 in a church ⛪ and 2 their children 👦 👧 be raised as Catholics.
Related. I and a few Indian 🇮🇳 priests often talk about Indian food 😋 and Indian pop music in addition to world 🌎 religions. We sometimes talk when we sip tea 🍵.
It's interesting how the Apocrypha played a role in her testimony.
Can’t count those books out I’ve read Sirach aloud twice at a Protestant Bible study.
They have NEVER been proclaimed "apocrypha" - that is an "untruth" made up by the so-called "reformers."
@apocryphamow
I must tell you the Deuterocanonical books were never "hidden", they're part of Jewish history since they were used by Alexandrian Greek-speaking Jews.
The fact is 300 Old Testament quotes in the New Testament 2/3 of them came from the Septuagint, which includes the Deuterocanonical books not used in Protestant Bibles.
Those books have never been considered apocrypha - not until the European rebellion which occurred some 1600-1700 years after some of them were written. The term apocrypha was used by the "reformers" as a pejorative, a slur, a curse so as to cast aspersion upon those books. Why? The same Protestants who never held a council to argue and debate the canonicity of a single book or epistle. Isn't that odd for people who claim to love scripture? Or is there something 'apocryphal' about their agenda?

Hal,
Well said!
Majority of Hindus are nice and open minded and ready to accept the truth
That is right and they sought earnestly how to live righteously. Same as the indigenous. We need to learn from Pre-christian religions, not scoff at them.
These days, there are more and more professing Christians who are spiritually restless, constantly bouncing in/bouncing out of church containers, asking themselves "Where, where?" "Where can I go to find spiritual fulfillment?"
I was reminded of the conversation that Jesus had with a Samaritan woman. She was explaining to Jesus that the Samaritans worshiped God in the mountain (Protestantism), but Jews say that God is to be worshiped in Jerusalem (Roman Catholicism). Jesus replied, "The hour is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him."
To date, I have not come across any who have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, filled with the Holy Spirit, filled with His power, and born from above asking, "Where, where?" "Where can I go to get spiritually fulfilled?"
Catholic Truth, where do you live? Texas?
I have a nice interesting reversion story if youre ever interested! God bless!
Feel free to tell Bryan about it. Bryan@catholictruth.org
Mary is the 1st person to be filled with the Holy Spirit and possess fulness of Grace. So we go to her to teach us how to listen to the voice of God and ponder it in our hearts.
I love it
Actually IT WAS ONLY JESUS who was had the Holy Ghost
Mary had to receive Him just as others
It was only in her womb. She was NOT BORN with the Holy Ghost. Only Jesus and John the Baptist. Catholic Church twist and add to the scriptures. But it’s a lie
@@TriciaPerry-mz7tc Who turned you into a homicidal hater? WHO?
@@HAL9000-su1mzI am not hating
I am telling you the truth. But apparently you are believing the CATHOLIC LIE
SO BE DAMNED. Nobody said anything about Hating anymore. BUT YOU. MARY didn’t have the Holyghost sealed. It was only Jesus and HE WAS IN HER WOMB not sealed in her soul spirit. This is the problem with you all. You cannot LISTEN and read what the scriptures say. It’s this ranting and MAN MADE THEORIES and all this BUT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH teaches blah blah blah NOT WHAT JESUS SAID AND TAUGHT
WICKEDNESS in HIGH PLACES!!!
@@HAL9000-su1mzI am not hating
I just stated biblical facts and YOU passed all over this to say I am hating instead of agreeing on WHAT WAS WRITTEN
Why do you all had
Assume and MAKE UP stories beyond WHAT IS WRITTEN as if God needed to send a Fatima to say Oh Jesus and The apostles left something out. He nor they did. It was already finishe d and SEALED
JOHN was told to seal
It was DONE. YET THE MINUTE some demons masquerading as an angel of light appear to some pitiful innocent children the ADULTS WHO SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. better JUMP at the LIE
instead of listening to the Holy Ghost and rebuking the Spirit of DECEPTION
Would you say that Zeus and the Devil are one and the same?
Any God that isn't the father or son is basically the devil.
@@Adam-of8cl I’m just asking about Zeus specifically because I think everyone knows about how Zeus revels in sexual sin and not taking responsibility for it, which doesn’t seem outside of the Devil’s realm
God said she didn't repent, I had to bring her home. Where was her home?
I believe she’s with the Lord! She started to seek comfort in the end in Jesus. I still pray for her soul. 😊
Probably better to be thoughtful with the word "insane."
Good thinking.
@@CatholicTruthOfficial ty. My thought was that if I were telling the story of my spiritual journey and conversion, I wouldn't want it thought of as insane.
I agree, but where do you see the word insane? I don't see it anywhere. Thanks.
@@CatholicTruthOfficial as you introduce her in the beginning
Is she married?
Dating someone yes. Engaged I think.
I do...not get a good feeling about this woman. Anyone else getting that vibe? She doesnt seem truly grounded, house built on sand sort of thing
Not here.
Not here. It was a journey that she had to take.
@@CatholicTruthOfficial maybe I'm wrong. It just seems like she's looking for a religion that fits a certain level of mysticism, in which case Catholicism would match that description. Just the way it all unfolded, Hinduism to occultism to Catholicism. Also i seen the look on your face when she said she heard the "audible voice of God" you looked like you were thinking "did you tho??? Did you really???" Haha brothers in Christ, I may be totally off base and I apologize if that's the case.
@88BuckMeister the audible voice of God is called "locution". It's not uncommon. Discernment of spirits is important, and people often hear the voice of the Lord in different ways that He chooses to speak to them
Like you or me, she is not yet a finished product. Regardless of the sinner, even you - or worse, me - God's grace will flow via the Sacraments. Consider how our sins appear to Him.
She doesn't look Indian. Is she North Indian?
She probably has Portuguese descendants in her ancestry.
My wife doesn't look Costa Rican, but she is 100%. :)
I thought she looked Indian. Of course I live in "Little India," so I see them all the time.
I think the kundalini and Holy spirit are one and the same
They are 100% not. Kundalini is not even from God and van lead to the demonic. We talked about that in our video on yoga.
@@CatholicTruthOfficialI disagree and have watched that video many times, bought your books,$upported your channel.you have some white elephants in your theory. You do not address the Kundalini in your video. saying it is not from God , you can not prove that. And Hindu predates Christianity from a people who were seeking for righteous life earnestly. I find some of your arguments weak with only dismissal as your defense. it warrants a much deeper conversation. Facts
Everything comes from God. Everything exists by his power all for his glory@@CatholicTruthOfficial
Kundalini is not from god. It doesn't seem like you've studied it very much or you haven't studied Christianity very much because they vastly differ. I actually went into a lot more information in my book, but the book publishing company thought it was extra. But I talked about experiences that people have had like former priests who studied yoga and became into and they were more like demonic possession attacks. There's not one thing in any of their experiences that resembles a Christian mystical experience. They're vastly different and completely contrary. Not to mention one is energy which is a Hindu and Buddhist concept and not a Christian one.
We agree with you though that Hinduism predates christianity, but that's kind of irrelevant since Jesus Christ came and started christianity, and he was the fullness of Truth and the only Divine son of God.
Everything does not come from God. Evil does not come from God. Kundalini does not come from God either. God created energy, but he's not energy, and there is a difference between physical energy of which there is scientific proof, and the spiritual energies which Kundalini would fall under of which there is little to no proof. From our extensive study, it can open up the realms to the demonic, which even exorcists have said.
@@CatholicTruthOfficial why would you say it sounds like I haven't studied much. I have studied earnestly much like you. I have asked questions in the past and you have been dismissive. The Hindus were not looking to be demon possessed. The were seeking in earnest how to live a more peaceful life, how to live rightfully on earth. I fully understand the fallacy of their religion but this was preChristian so that does not make something irrelevant! they did not have Christ to guide them. I also can provide with names of those who have had healing so testaments work both ways and doesn't seal your claim. What do you mean not all things come from God,can you explain more clear 🙏 It seems you are shaming me.
Take care
Wow! What a testimonial! You're an inspiration Ramya! @acatholicbeachbunny
