Thank you Mr. Foley for another excellent video. As I tell my hifi friends, one can learn so much from watching your videos. I learned so much from the 'Back to Basics' series, as well as the rest of your videos. And the Forum often answers questions for me before I ask them!
Hey. We Have a Church with an Rt60 Time of 1.8 Sekondi in the Mids. Is there a general Goal of RT60 Time that the sound is not that washy anymore and becomes more clear?
Hello Dennis, I'm so thankful for all the information that you share, it helped me a lot. Now i moved all my gear on my attic space which is one big room about 100sq meters 10x10 with a chimney in the centre where the ceiling is about 4 meters high (which is great). I like the sound very much in that huge space, i have very smooth and equal low frequency response down to 35hz but the space is too big for me to heat in winter times. How can I close down the listening area with the 2 speakers in it and leave the subwoofers out of the space without stopping the sound and reflect it as well. I'm thinking of putting a couple of thich fabric curtains on my 4 sides and a thick layer of fabrick above my head as well to keep the warm in. What kind of fabric will to the best job or Is there a better option? Thank you.
Please step further away from the green screen - The green halo around your hair is not becoming - It is distracting. It will go away as soon as you step further away from the screen. But as always - Great info in your videos :)
S, Agreed. It would be nice if the people I hire to do their job knew this. I can't even begin to tell you the issues I have finding quality video people.

So being reverberation a distortion of sounds hence it reduces dynamic of sound and that is why people think they are good at singing in the bathroom
H, Yes, reverberation hides many flaws.

Look into the 1.0 - 1.25 second range.
@@AcousticFields thanks a lot!
