You were doing it right, the top just pops up, that way you can't cut yourself, when you tired to use the second can opener you can see it in the video that the top popped up, I hope this helps.

I have some cheap Walmart versions of this. How cheap? Cheap to the point where you have to go around the lid 2-3 times. You actually had it correct placing it on top of the can rather than on the side like a regular can opener. I know people are saying that it's so you don't cut yourself but they forget it's so that you can also put the lid back on, rather than leaving a little bit of the top so that it doesn't fall into the can and you can somewhat close it

The plastic coating/liner on the inside will seep into your food and make you sick overtime. Be safe and take canned foods out and into a microwave safe bowl for microwave, or a soup pot/pan to heat over fire or heat source.

Yu were doing it right when it was placed flat on top. It already started to open the top. When yu put the second can opener on it, the top was already popped up on one side. It doesn’t take the top off like a normal can opener. It does it so yu don’t get cut when it comes off
You were doing it right i think. I have one that i find difficult to use but when i figure it out, it's actually easy (i just forget all the time). Here you have to turn it 360 degrees until you get less resistance, then turn 90 degrees in the other direction and the lid comes off easily!

@@morticiaaddams7866 of course… that’s why you don’t cook in sealed containers. But with cans you don’t want to cook in them due to metal seeping out of the can and into your food. The plastic coating/liner on the inside will seep into your food and make you sick overtime. Be safe and take canned foods out and into a microwave safe bowl for microwave, or a soup pot/pan to heat over fire or heat source.

we're sorry? we don't go over $100. I usually don't go over $20 personally. But if he pisses me off and it's not that deep.. I take it out on our bank account instead of him. But not to our detriment. I won't break us doing that. So it's usually coffee drinks. I have an app so I get some REALLY good deals. I found a loophole to get my favorite iced coffee, a large, for $1. I hope your wife doesn't go overboard. He does stuff too. like leave the truck with about 7 miles of gas when he knows I need to drive it early in the morning. I'm guessing 7 bc after 10 miles it just says low. I curse like a sailor while I'm getting gas and bring him home some iced coffee🤣🤣🤣 I can only get ONE for $1.

I saw a good one in an "Idiots in Cars" video earlier today where this girl (couldn't have been more than 20) was pulling a mini van up to a gas station pump and I think it was FIVE times she kept pulling up to the wrong side (gas tank door was on the driver's side, she kept pulling up so the pump was on the passenger's side) and the entire clip is her getting out, going around her van, getting ready to pick up the pump handle, realizes the gas tank door is on the OTHER side, gets back into her van, drives around to another pump, parks, gets out only to discover she is _still_ on the wrong side of the pump.

Yu were doing it right when it was placed flat on top. It already started to open the top. When yu put the second can opener on it, the top was already popped up on one side. It doesn’t take the top off like a normal can opener. It does it so yu don’t get cut when it comes off
