Very informative. I've had the worst time getting my baby to sleep through the night. Womb sounds have been helpful for me. Some music box lullabies work too. Not sure why it works but it does. My favorites to use are from Best Baby Sleep right here on UA-cam. I had bought a cd but much easier to get it from here. Just a tip. hope it helps others here.
Baby does not need a regular moisturizer at all (unless skin is starting to become visibly dry or irritated). Their skin produces natural oils thats why you only wash them in the bath 2 times weekly (you can use baby wipes to clean the neck and chin to keep them clean in between).
Kristie Foley in places where its dry like kansas or here in Colorado you do need to apply lotion a good amount of times, especially if they have extremely dry skin like the boys in my family tend to do.
Bre Silva that's interesting the health guidelines and literature state that nothing should be used for the first 4-6 weeks but perhaps it is different in other climates. Babies have their own natural oils but of course if it was so dry it was becoming red and irritated that's a different story.
Kristie Foley in my family the boys have a rare skin disease that makes the boys skin extremely dry to the point a baby can born with cracks in their skin. we have to use special scent free lotions and soaps.
After watching and reading 📚 I don't know if the two go together or not but After reading the comments I think all of these people were expecting a full hour documentary on how to give a newborn a full bath with all the bell's and whistles including a newborn that doesn't cry on it's first bath. It was the funniest thing that I have seen in a long time This definitely should have been on America's Funkiest Video's it would have for sure won first prize. HA HA HA HA

Depends on the state of the baby and the baby in question. Mine only hates bathing if she is already tired. Bathing during when she is active is not a problem.
