  • Idiot excuses for fans FA Cup Semi Final 2012 Spurs V Chelsea sing and boo during Hillsborough minutes silence.
It seems the Chelsea fans were chanting "Murderers" and the Spurs fans responded by Booing after the silence had ended. Disgusting and disrespectful either way! Rubbish history, rubbish club and rubbish fans! Bring on the FA Cup Final on the 5th May!

Cuz there’s not many games around the date of Hysel. We remember it at Liverpool. There’s a monorail outside anfield.
Also don’t forget. People have been charged and done prison time for what they did on the tragic day. While nobody has been charged for hillsborough. 97 dead people. Countless people under the age of 18. A 10 year old. Disgusting that this is your response…

Don't like to see this, but also don't like to see an entire club's support tarred with the same brush. This is just a small group of idiots disrupting a silence, not the whole of Chelsea Football Club. Just like a few Man Utd idiots carry 'murderers' banners, not the whole of Manchester Utd Football Club. Just like a few of our own Liverpool idiots ridicule the Munich disaster during games, not the whole of Liverpool Football Club. So lets not get caught up in generalisations. There is one thing we can be sure of - each club has at least a few idiots in their stands. Don't generalise. Don't let the idiots win.

Manchester United fan here. You cannot blame Liverpool fans for crushing the 96 to death, as the police in Yorkshire were just plain brainless. They knew damn well that the Leppings Lane were jammed pack with people, but they did not let fans go on the pitch, despite overwhelming pressure. So, can you blame Liverpool fans for poor stadium quality? No! So please, just shut up and actually realise that the 96 were innocent

Yeah, Liverpool fans do, that's why we unveiled a plaque at the 25th anniversary to commemorate the JUVENTUS fans that died. In fact they also organised a friendly between the clubs, and revealed a huge banner on the Kop that meant 'Friendship' in Italian, to which the Juventus fans applauded.

Liverpool had an open top bus tour showing off two cups on May 29th last year. Utterly disgraceful. There fans defended the club decision. I have yet to meet a Liverpool fan who feels they are to blame for Heysel. They booed the national anthem - showed no respect when the queen passed but expect everyone to show sympathy and respect over Hillsborough. They also were not prepared to change the date of the semi final so Chelsea had an extra day to prepare for the semi final of the CL and they still blame Chelsea fans for Heysel. What do they expect?

There was a grievance about the scheduling of this match but they took the completely inappropriate way of displaying their annoyance. Come together and stand against them, or start chucking cheap insults about that are only appropriate at a match or in the pub, not hand-in-hand with a serious issue such as this.

He hasn't dived like that since his first season, but when he does it's to slow the pace of the game down, give our team a breather, which we needed, and to break their rhythm. We didn't want Barcelona scoring and they play at a fast pace whereas Drogba prefers the slower pace, By diving he stops the game, allows us to get back into position and ruins their momentum, also it frustrates them, tactically it's good but it also gets very annoying as a fan to watch sometimes I yell at him to get up.

don't want to argue on youtube to be honest, i did see empty seats tho my eyes were not tripping, plus was abit angry at the time when some chelsea fans was booing and shouting murderers during the minute silence for the 96, that was just wrong.

  • @b6ns

Again, let me repeat, the booing was from our fans and the Spurs fans TOWARDS the few who disrupted the silence. If you listen carefully there's a handful that chanted, and thousands that booed.
Seeing as how the culture of racism in the global society has resulted in the slave trade, millions of deaths and decades of widespread abuse within football I can't agree that racist chanting is a lesser evil than mocking Hillsborough.
I'll repeat though, you get these idiots at EVERY ground.

I dont condone racism, however Suarez called Evra "Negrito" which is not a racist or even an offensive term in Latin America.

Hate it when he's played with Malouda and Sturridge, he never gets any support off them. Hopefully that'll change when Marin and De Bruyne play.
Carroll looked fantastic that game, hopefully he'll be consistent and not just trying to put the effort in to get in the squad for the Euro's. Shame when genuinely good players aren't performing well.

@Roque2289 Err we don't. We "memorialise" Hillsborough because EVERY single person in Liverpool, one way or another knows someone who either lost their life, was injured or has the mental scarring of being in a crush. This tragedy affects us, Liverpool as a city (blue and Red). We remember all dead but please don't tell us how a City should react just because we are unique.

no we dont, our fans that make fun of munich are scum, i would happily fill them in anyday but i have seen countless chelsea fans online trying to defend their booing of the silence and it has started to feel like its not the minority atall. Ive never actually spoken to a chelsea fan who had anything sensible to say about hillsborough either. Obviously it was the minority that were booing but it doesnt feel like it. Thats why we're angry.

Similar to fans thinking we have no history. just shortly before Roman arrived we had won quite a bit. F.A cup in '97 and 2000, League cup in '98, Community shield in 2000, Uefa cup winners cup in '98 and the Uefa Super Cup in '98 also. Besides that is was Ken Bates that bought us for a £1 when we were heavily in debt, Roman bought us for £140 Million. Also we finished in the top 4 in 2002-03 and thus qualified for Champions League, which is why he bought us, as we were in the CL.

The FA report said he wasn't a racist (just liek every friend he has ever had has said), but that he was guilty of using an insensitive word "negrito". But since every single spanish speaking person in the world has verified that this is a common word with no derogatory meaning, then Suarez hasn't done anything wrong. He is the victim, not Patrice; and in fact Evra will always be remembered as a liar by the football world. An embarrassment of a person.

You still push the blame the fans line, which is utterly discredited by all evidence. They were stuck in restricted space due to poor policing/appalling unsafe ground features(eg turnstiles). There was no indication,no policemen,to indicate the terrace tunnel was full, they could not have known. This had happened 3 times before (81,87,88)-police saw it happen yet did nothing to stop it happening again in 89.I really wish people would stop suggesting the police could not have known.READ THE REPORT

And Liverpool fans never, ever forget about Hysel. It was our fans fault, as was it Uefa's for putting the match in a crumbling stadium.
We never forget, in 2005 when we last faced Juventus we spent a good part of the pre-match saying we are sorry. Understandably some didn't want it.

I'm a Chelsea fan as well and I totally agree with you. It's a shame! Just like the so-called "supporters" who're singing songs about Hillsborough and the Munich tragedy. You can hate a team as much as you want, but NEVER make fun of peoples deaths even if they're supporters or players for the team you hate!
