    Another great tutorial.
    You will already know this trick but for others watching who want to change their grips out very easily with or without grip glue but snip the safety wire do the following,
    Grab the grip shoulder and bend it back until you see that gap between grip and bar, then with a air nozzle poke it into the gap and give it 100psi, the grip will puff up and slide right off, do the same with install and they will slip right on with no twisting. If part of your grip isn't in line how you like it just give a puff of air and it's easy to line up.
    As always a very informative, well explained video. Happy riding.👍😃

    Also leaving okay in your cables, is because thermal expansion/contraction.. doesn’t sound like much but over the length of the cable, plus no slack, it will put tension on your cable on a cold day.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  10 місяців тому

      Yes. Also when the clutches get hot they expand, taking up slack on the clutch cable

    I have 1-1/8 twin walls, with cross bar. Couldn’t get over how rigid they felt. Last ride I took the cross bar out. That was a great idea. No more wrist pain from sharp impacts. My suspension is nice and setup, but the last little thing it needed was the crossbar removed. Always ran fat bars without the crossbar but wanted to try some stiff bars. Big mistake.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  10 місяців тому

      LoL. Your not the only one. My brother also complains about the rigidness of the twin wall bars. The cross bar-less bars surely have more flex

    I only ran plastic throttle tubes on my bike ('05 yz125) for the 9 years I've had it simply because they were cheaper than metal ones, plus I heard some mention of the metal ones bending in a crash and binding up or scoring the handlebar metal whereas a plastic one would just break and then get cheaply replaced. Had good luck with the Motion Pro plastic ones. But for the last year, I've been running the same G2 quick throttle like you've got, with whichever cam makes it the quickest, so now I've gotta run an aluminum tube. No issues so far. Kinda wish I could make it an even quicker ratio cause I don't notice it really compared to stock, but I don't believe there's a quicker cam option for it.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  10 місяців тому +1

      Hello. I feel ya on the quick twist. I too wished it was quicker. But it did make it quick enough to allow full throttle without dropping a elbow so I guess that's good enough. Did you also trim the spring to ease the throttle pull some?

    • @cbh148
      @cbh148 10 місяців тому +1

      @@UpAllNight91 I didn’t cut the spring, but I didn’t really notice the increased mechanical advantage that the spring has over my wrist w/ the quick throttle, even though mechanically speaking it has to be there.
      I’ve thought about adding a ziptie to the cam to make it pull the cable a bit quicker but I feel like that’s just asking for a stuck throttle and a gnarly injury.

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  10 місяців тому

      For sure. Don't want to risk that! Although I will admit I did a mod similar to that on my zx10r. But I was super careful to epoxy it all together real well

    Thank you for this great video! I use Renthal twinwall handlebars and Pro Grip 788 grips. Have you tried these grips? I have short fingers so they are great for me as they are very grippy and narrow ones.

      Thanks and your welcome! Love the renthal twinwall! I havewnt tried the pro grips but I know what you mean about the short fingers. I recently went from the renthal grips back to the stock yamaha grips because I got tires of changing the grips out every tip over lol.

    What's the difference between hydraulic clutch vs the one you have on your YZ?

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  10 місяців тому +1

      Hydraulic clutch doesn't have a cable that requires adjustable, can feel easier to pull in the lever but can also lack feel at the lever. Because of the feeling some do prefer a cable clutch, while others don't mind the Hydraulic clutch

    How long are ur bars 32 inches I bought tusk they are 33 inches the renthal bars on my bike are 32 inches so I told my mechanic to cut half inch both sides an I didn't see the marks on my tusk handlebars should I return them ???

    • @UpAllNight91

      My renthals are 32 inches wide. The marks are not needed, its more of a convenience when setting the bars up. Its also ok to cut the bars down to what you like though.
