Walking through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) | The Busiest Airport in the Northwest

Welcome to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), otherwise known as Sea-Tac. It's one of the busiest airports in the Pacific Northwest region of North America, and your likely arrival location should you be traveling to the Seattle, metropolitan area. You'll also be coming here if you're opting to take an Alaska cruise as several major cruise lines (such as Royal Caribbean International) make their home port here. Given this, it pays to know a bit about where you're going ahead of time, so we're talking a walk from Gate A1 down to baggage claim. This ought to give you a glimpse into the lay of the land. Note though that this is Concourse A, the main terminal for domestic flights.
Once we get to baggage claim, we'll take a brief detour around the departures area so you can see some of the ticketing counters and where you'll queue up for security screening. If you have TSA Pre-Check, we'll pass that too, as it wasn't immediately apparent when we went due to the crowds. After a lap around the departures area, we'll make our way to the Link Light Rail. This is the train you will need to take in order to get to tourist areas such as the Space Needle (you will need to transfer to a monorail though). It's a bit of a hike, but know that there are complimentary golf cart shuttles to take you to the train if you can snag one.
