i think it is fixed and related on your power, like a power milestone you must surpass to achieve golden star, that is why you gain power even when you fail, it never goes down (compared to the same previous condition)
I know its an old comment but does this mean that no matter what you'll always not get the star until you reached a certain power from star? I've heard people saying they spent different amount of soulstones than others(not sure if same hero) but if it wasn't wasn't same hero does this mean some are faster to get gold than others?
what if you only give the hero you want the for sure breakout cause its the tenth one? you would have to fail the other times then wait until you get that free one then give it to that hero

Im vip 8 i have the soulstone wish it costs 400diamonds for 1wish theres a small chance to get 1legend ss, or you can buy 3 legend ss from the super savings ss shop which is what i do but it takes a few days for the legen that i want. Is there any other way to get these legends easier?
there are not link at your power. I have lvl 5 blaine star( the big golden star). Never use never upgrade anything never spend 1 coint in that champion. Still lvl 1 with max star rare. :) Its luck. Nothing more.
The designed-to-drive-you-mad breakout algorithms are independent respective to each hero.

Each hero has a different count unfortunately. Its not cummulative.
