What is the human spirit? Is it the SAME as the Spirit- a component of Body, Soul and Spirit? The human spirit is resilient, stubborn, lethargic, jealous, proud etc. How can this human spirit reach out to God? It has more inclination to evil, and the pleasures of the flesh. How can it reach out to holiness, goodness, Godliness?
You did not explain what is our spirit; how does it look, is it a person? Are there three of us or one? Once early in the morn as I was still sleeping I actually heard myself standing beside my bed and singing over me. Then once as I was asleep in the middle of the night I awakened some place else. I was in the glory of God even seeing His eyes. I could see, feel, touch, think. I was me but whether I was in my body or not haven't a clue.

Explain Gen 2.7 and tell us what is the composition of the creation of man. There are not 3 parts of man in that scripture, the formula is Dust+spirit=a living soul. If we make a box , we need nails and wood to become a box. Two items to be called a box . If we take it apart is no longer a box . Man made of dust plus the breath of life BECAME a living soul. Just like any other animal life God created, which by the way this is the first time God used the word soul and it was in reference to animals that were created first. All mortal life that returns to the dust. The word spirit and soul is used in many forms and figures of speech, but so as the word heart. Are we to say that the heart is a fourth part of man too. The selection of the words body soul and spirit in the scriptures doesnt deal with the creation of man . When we read the context is not answering or stating what is the nature or composition of the creation of man. That is not the subject in that scripture to make a doctrine of what constitutes the creation of the creature man is. If we read Rev 11:11 when the 2 witnesses were killed , after 3 and half days the..... breath of life from God.... entered the men and they stood in their feet, these men were resurrected, they had been killed and the breath of life as is written returns to God who gave it . Their spirit returns to God and now God returns the same spirit or breath of life that made them live back to the bodies and they became living souls again. Validating Gn 2:7 the record of the true nature of man inspired by God to Moses about how was that creature called man was created. A pure physical creature with an expiration date on his short life and ceases to exist at death , but by choice has the potential to live forever with life immortal on planet earth. If anybody has any doubts just visit the book of Genesis and see how God prevented man from eating from the tree of live to make sure they will not eat and LIVE FOREVER. There is no part of man that is immortal. Immortality is a free give only available NOT in the platonic pagan ideas of the mystical world and pagan ideas that believe that man never dies or that man is a spirit that inhabits a body. ETERNAL LIFE AND IMMORTALITY IS ONLY AVAILABLE AT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST. Those who sleep in the dust of the ground will hear his voice and come out to received eternal life or condemnation . If you happen to believe that the real you is not in that grave sleeping in the dust of the ground, then you are going to miss this event if you happen to be absent from the body and not in the dust of the earth.
