Back when I maintained the same bright color for months at a time I thought yellow washed out waaaay too fast and was like 70% gone after the first wash. So when I wanted to have fun with my hair on a 3 week break from work I chose yellow..... My hair was stained for MONTHS and purple shampoo wasn't enough to cancel it out.
Ya I can second that the Pravana Neon Yellow is very vibrant and longlasting. It's awesome! :) In fact it's lasted so long I didn't bother trying to remove it or fade it, I just went over it with blue to turn it a nice emerald green.
I think you should go for that lime crime color you did right before the billie concert. That had a beautiful purple undertone, and i think would cancel, and color your hair nicely
I know this might sound weird but I have platinum hair and have also had my hair stain with the fanola shampoo and I had heard lemon or lime 🍋 juice worked wonder removing the purple it worked for me idk if it will work for everyone but you can give it a try I mixed Limon/lime juice [which ever you want] even the one in the bottle works with dawn soap and left it on for 20 to 30 minutes and it removed it completely I also do that when I over tone my hair with toner.
I'm confused about why you used the purple shampoo first and then 3 rounds of color remover. Wouldn't the color remover undo all toning of the purple shampoo? Or at least, all toning of the yellow specifically?
About the fanola. If you don't want it to stain, dissolve it in water and dip your hair onto it. But still be careful because yeah.. it still could stain. Not my favorite purple shampoo because of that :/
I always mix my fanola with a bit of normal shampoo because it stains the hell outta my hair, plus its really drying so the added bit of normal shampoo kinda helps that....
This video is making me want to see an ashy lavender colour all over with a few peekaboo pastel rainbow stripes in your hair again because lavender works really well on you 💜
What dye did u use? Do you wash it in cold water or hot? Do u use a sulfate free shampoo? Im amazed its vibrant after over a month when you wash it everyday! I've been going the extra lengths the last five years to keep my vivid colors as strong as possible for as long as possible, washing it every 5-12 days in cold water and hair products recommended to help your color stick for longer and during the first years i even mixed the conditioner with my hair dye to help it stay so intense in color, but thats way to much work for me now, I constantly had stained fingers and nails 😂 Also, how do you keep the blue from not bleeding over to the yellow? I think it's a sick combination, but i would fear the yellow would turn green very quickly? Props to you for keeping it looking fresh until now!
I have done this, the only colour I’ve had problems with (obviously) is that nasty unintentional mint green (aka devil colour) It had literally no effect on that. 😒 Edit: I found it needs 6% I will mention!
Love your videos. I finds them to be super helpful when I do my own hair. Just a theory: maybe because the purple shampoo is more blue based it couldn’t fully eliminate the yellow. Because neon yellow sometimes is slightly green (especially straight out of the bottle) maybe a more red based purple would’ve been able to eliminate the yellow?? I don’t think they make a reddish purple shampoo. I myself had to make a green shampoo to help me remove red which faded to a pink. I used adore color (because it doesn’t have conditioner in it) with shampoo to make the green shampoo. It did stain my hair green after only being on for a few minutes but was easily removed with a vitamin C treatment. Again love your channel and hope you’re able to get the yellow out 🥰.
Queen Aislinn, did u know how to remove henna?? I have a problem :(. I love u and your videos I learn a lot with u.. hair and English cause I'm Spanish. Thanks u uwu
how long has the henna been in your hair? if it’s been a month or 2, in my experience bleach cut through it and my natural hair was basically in tact without getting the green look that can happen if it’s freshly applied. i had gone to a hair stylist tho and informed them of my hair history. henna can be super difficult to work with depending upon what kind you used, and i feel like i was just lucky in my experience. whatever you end up doing i hope it goes well!
Did you use pure henna powder or was it a blend that had other ingredients in it? It's safe to bleach if it was pure henna. If it had indigo or metals/metallic salts in it, bleach could have a bad reaction and do a lot of damage.
I think I spend 1 or 2 moths no more. My hair was white, and i ever use cream fantasy color, "Crazy color Fire" i never dye, the problem is that I used a new cream and when i look for the componets i read Henna... And i try to removing with "get out colors" and doesn't work.... And i go to a professionls and they say to me that there's no solution and if I bleach o if I dyed muy hair it could be fall.....
I'll have to give that Fanola shampoo a try because I'm always wanting my hair to overtone to purple but it's usually getting stuck at a slightly sandy yellow
Love you and all your videos 💕 you always kill it! I have the fanola purple shampoo and it seemed like it fried my hair 😢 I've been too afraid to use it again.
You might have better luck if you use a more pink-purple shampoo than a blue-purple shampoo, that yellow in your bangs looks like it's leaning green more than orange! (Also I feel your pain, it took me from January til May last year to remove leftover brassy yellow from a lunar tides colour...)
I just started the video so maybe you mentioned it but when I had mustard yellow hair and faded it as much as I could with vitami c, I used a blue based toner and it got me almost white! Bc I know blue cancels yellow on the color wheel
Have you ever tried the Finola bleaches I like to hear your opinion on them before I buy some I'm not a hair stylist but I think I can buy them they don't ask for cosmetology license at checkout
How would you nutritive red? I used L’Oréal hi color on my hair I been using the vitamin c treatment it has removed a lot of the color. It still does after many times of using that method.
I need help getting IROIRO UV Neon Yellow out of my hair. I want to get to white. I used it 2 months ago and the last time I did it the yellow lasted over 6 months. Only have bleached my hair once
How long would you suggest leaving the fanola no yellow on just to maintain highlights? I don’t wanna turn them purple/lilac because of work but I want to try this purple shampoo.
You should try toning out the money piece area with wella t14 I had mint green hair and the t14 turned it like a silver color! I should have recorded it but I will next time if i impulsively go blue again lol!
I have a blue/mint green in my hair, that just don't want to leave. Do you have any advise? I tried bleach bath, vitamin c, and so on. Is there a color theory I can use? 😃
A pink or salmon pink will cancel the green... but it will be kind of muddy if your green stain is dark. I just bleach-bathed my purple&blue galaxy hair. I niw have pastel mint with light turquoise roots. I actually really like it!! Try bleachbath a few times. use a stripping shampoo and some dabdruuf shampoo and mix in bleach powfer and 20 vol developer. Lather and cover with pladtic wrap... check at 5min intervals. Rinse after 15min. wait a few days then repeat. Eventually it will ho back to blonde.
Ah...that time we all were desperate to cancel the brassiness and banana yellow from blonde hair, been there done that several times🤣🤣😅.....after several times I started combining 2:1 purple shampoo with blue shampoo that worked better than just simple purple shampoo😅
I would try a true blue type colour to cancel out the yellow. If you think about magenta, yellow, cyan and red, green, blue (like colour printer ink or RGB lights) blue would be opposite to yellow
That’s what I’m worried about😟 Maybe dilute with shampoo & concentrate on roots. Wash out after 2-3 minutes 🤔 I have a pixie cut 🥲 …. Yikes….. any advice? Thank you!
Unrelated to video comment: I legit forgot I have a half sleeve on my left arm and just took a photo of my pretty black cat sleeping on my arm and was like oh yea i have a tattoo on my arm. Haha. I was wondering if you ever have that happen to you at times
How about a "shades of grey" theme on your hair? Multiple shades/tones of grey
You really missed a 50 Shades of Grey joke?! 🥺😩
Joking aside, totally would love to see it!

Lol. I love the purple with rainbow tint though! I really do but I get it. Only half way though can’t wait to see the end!

I love that the front is such a beautiful opalescent color melange. Gorgeous!
I kind of love that little halo on the bangs
I think you should go for that lime crime color you did right before the billie concert. That had a beautiful purple undertone, and i think would cancel, and color your hair nicely
I've tried it with the No Yellow mask and it totally removed the yellow , but I slept with the mask on 😄

I just dyed my hair rainbow the other day after watching your videos 🥰 I love your work so much!! 🖤
Do a pinwheel of different greys! 😍 BTW love watching your vids! ❤
It looks intentional! Super cute!!! Especially a with the yellow at the root area right where it is in the bangs. 🌈💖

I need a makeup tutorial on this look and the recent makeup looks you’ve been doing!! Love it!
Maybe do green on the bangs and pink or purple elsewhere. Really lean into spring.
You are very brave with your experiments !
Dyed my hair blue and yellow on March 19 and it's April 22 and it still looks pretty fresh. And I wash my hair everyday.

Could you try permanent clear with 2 to 6% (depeding on how deep the pigment is) to remove color? This allegedly helps a lot
Yes! Definitely want to try 🖤

My colorist just told me to try the Malibu hard water shampoo and conditioner. Ordered and excited to try!
Moroccanoil purple shampoo is the best of the best I use it in a while on my blonde hair and I love it
Yay first! I love the purplish silver color on you! You're so pretty I just love you 😍
So excited to see what you decide. I’ve gotta re-download Instagram.

The fanola purple foam 😍😍
What's the benefit of using purple or blue shampoo compared to using a mix of colour and conditioner to colour correct?
Because it's a greeny yellow, pink would neutralise it better than purple or blue.
I was just thinking this!
A pink based purple would absolutely work better than a blue based purple, for sure. Even as diluted pigment in a conditioner could work.
Should've stop after the purple shampoo. That's was beautiful.

what is it with yellow that makes it stick so bad? i love yellow hair but it’s a bigger commitment than i thought it was 😢
Can you try there no yellow foam they say it’s stronger then the shampoo
I love canola blue n purple
i love watching your videos even after a long tiring busy day ^___^
Your nails are gorgeous. What the color?
Why not try another round to try to neutralize that yellow more? Or try other purple shampoos?
You could do a pastel neon prism all over and don't redo the yellow in ur bangs. Then itl match and fade together.
I thought about that! 🌈🖤
