I can't wait to dive into this template. I'm pumped to integrate it into my Ableton workflow since I'm already running tracks, lyrics, and lights in arrangment view.
Can we record those patches together? I tried it doesnt work when i pressed global record button, though the tracks are already armed with record toggle button. Do i miss something to record?
On the Sunday Sounds website, it currently says Ableton 10 Intro is supported. Is that new since this video was made? How do you work around the 8-scene limit of Intro?
I don't understand…. can I have a Setlist with tracks and this template sounds? So we could sing Maybe one song with a track and than mybe it is an older song and we just use these sounds and after that a track again?
In a set up like can Ableton also have a mic running throughout with a third party reverb? Say if you wanted to use Ableton for your keys and plug in vocals for streaming for example....
@@SundaySounds Thank you for replying to me :D. Looks like Ableton can solve most of my problems :). My mac is on the blink... I want 32gb ram on my next computer, a good processor and a big SSD. I also want money left over... gonna have to be a windows machine, so bye bye MainStage :(
Hi This might be a stupid question but I'm new to Ableton, How do I use my own instruments as in my own plugin sounds for piano sounds in the Sunday sounds template. Whenever I drag and drop sounds into it, it won't let me use the other piano sounds that came with the Sunday sounds template and Greys out all the tracks. Thanks for your time and cooperation
Yes, you can use Sunday Keys for Ableton in Windows, but we don't have a separate Windows demo, they work pretty similarly and we mention differences in the tutorial documentation.
I got this Sunday keys everything works except the pedal doesn’t work when I hold the pedal the piano sounds go’s away anyone knows how active the pedal
All the sounds can be accessed in the “Presets” folder included in your download. You can drag those into any Ableton Concert, or if you save the folder in the “Places” section inside Ableton you can can quick access to all those sounds.
@@SundaySounds In your walk through the first song was 75 BPM then in the label you added 105 BPM. When you activated that new patch it set the tempo to 105BPM. Seemed like it was magic so just trying to understand how that worked without physically going to the top and changing BPM from 75 to 105.
This might be a stupid question, but how do you get the instruments on MIDI clips like that? Normally I can either get one instrument per track or more through instrument rack, but I'm not sure how to get them to appear as clips like in this template, and I've tried to reverse engineer it with the template myself, but haven't gotten very far. Thanks!
@@SundaySounds Why not do another video on this? because you are the owner of this product. to be honest with you most of us in Africa don't own a Mac, we have window henceforth doing it will help most of us. I'll prefer to sound stupid yet got the process right then pretend. Please do a step by step how to import it on Abelton, connect your rig and assign sound on different analogs.
I was wondering the same thing. I finally stumbled across it in another video of theirs. Check this video out: ua-cam.com/video/tcdLKrSuYDE/v-deo.html It's done by loading the sounds into different chains within the instrument, and then having the various MIDI clips just automate the clip number.
This video is an older version of the Sunday Keys Ableton Template, now Sunday Keys for Ableton has lots of custom sampled instruments with more added each month, you can learn more here: sundaysounds.com/pages/sunday-keys-for-ableton and see some of the sounds added each month here: sundaysounds.com/pages/sk-update-history
Any more details on changing patches in arrangement view on the timeline? Copy and Pasting from the session view is not working for me at the moment. Thanks.
Make sure you're pasting the clips into the same track, can you send us a screenshot of your concert and more details about the problem to info@sundaysounds.com
Thank you for putting this product and tutorial out there for us! Question, would I be able to transpose the patches if I’m not playing in the original key of the preset/song?
Hi! These are general presets that you can play in any key. But if you need to tranpose, you can create a midi channel with midi transpose within an instrument rack. Then use chain selector to create chains with all the transposition steps you would want to use. (I suggest you make from -7 til +7) Go ahead and create dummy clips with different chains selected on each of them. You can then use them as presets, simply drag it in parallel with your other instrument dummy clips (presets). If you have any questions about how to do this, please reach out to us at info@sundaysounds.com and we are happy to help!
@@SundaySounds I was given the sunday sounds on a laptop by my worship leader so I don't have access to those info videos. I asked my worship pastor and he has no idea where that folder is on his computer at this point lol
Hi, no. Ableton Live doesn't allow CC messages from a controller through the host (Live) to a plugin and capture that as automation in the arrangement view. All other major DAWs do this though.
Great question! What piano were you planning to use, most modern keyboards can also be used as a MIDI controller, even if they come with built-in sounds, just check the ports section to see if there is a MIDI out port, or usb. You could also refer to the user manual to see how to set up your model as a midi controller.

Hi, there's a video on the resource page to help with how to record.
On the Sunday Sounds website, it currently says Ableton 10 Intro is supported. Is that new since this video was made? How do you work around the 8-scene limit of Intro?
Hi, it is! We have a separate file for Intro that's different than the one for Standard/Suite.
I don't understand…. can I have a Setlist with tracks and this template sounds? So we could sing Maybe one song with a track and than mybe it is an older song and we just use these sounds and after that a track again?
Yes you can!
Can this also be used with Keyscape and Omnisphere patches?
Hi, yes you can bring in Keyscape or Omnisphere to work with Sunday Keys!
In a set up like can Ableton also have a mic running throughout with a third party reverb? Say if you wanted to use Ableton for your keys and plug in vocals for streaming for example....
Yes, you could!
