Oh man!!!! This song is so nostalgic..... takes me back to my childhood, 1981/82, I remember listening to this on our stereo in the living room of the house I grew up in....
This was one of my favorite songs when I was a kid. My mom used to have his record on rotation along with records by Shirley Caesar and other gospel artists. This song has popped up in my head over the years, but I couldn’t for the life of me remember the artist’s name. Tonight I decided to Google some of the lyrics again, and I’m so happy his name popped up.
I was just graduating high school 👩🏽🎓 in 81 and was able to see him in concert at that time, so smooth an anointed how he sings so effortlessly! I was so blessed 😇 what joy 🤩
