    Fantastic video. I know its going to be a dickish thing to say but it sux when you find the videos where the guy explaining growing techniques is way too stoned (or just a burn-out) to explain what it actually going on (when it sounds like they took 2 bars of xanex before they started the video). But when you find a video like this one, with Jeff Lowenfels, it is a "breath of fresh air" not listening to a burnout explaining ways to grow cannabis.

    So I have a question hopefully someone here can help. So what about during flower? We take a bit if time and establish a soil food web, what goes on at the end of the cycle in flower? Is there an ideal difference for the flower phase? You you still flush your soil for a while at the end before harvest? Or Hows that work in no till organic soil indoor gardening?

    • @trevorfichtner3539
      @trevorfichtner3539 4 роки тому

      Also, what about after I'm done? Can I rip out the roots and reuse the living soil? Few refreshers maybe and your good?

    • @pedclarkemobile
      @pedclarkemobile 4 роки тому +2

      Towards the end of flower the plant will feed the microbes less sugar (exudates) and the exchange of elements for sugar slows down. Also in autumn the soil temperature drops which slows down microbial activity too. Unless there are already water soluble nutrients present (monopotassium phodphate, calcium nitrate etc) then flushing is really not necessary. (If you have an EC or PPM meter then try reading input water and run off water to see if "free" nutrients are leached by flushing- the input and run off should be pretty similar values.

    Can cannabis and psychedelic mushrooms have a synergistic relationship?

    • @abisailmurillo124
      @abisailmurillo124 5 років тому +2

      Perhaps.. but most likely no. Perhaps because the first mycelium species actually interwove with that green stuff in the ocean idk I forgot the exact plant. But what it did was go into its root system and take what it needs while giving the plant deposits. Crazy stuff, happened billions of years ago. Maybe one can train a mycelium shroom to interweave with cannabis. But I highly doubt as shrooms have been here forever they would've already as they cover 30% of the planet as is.

    6:56 that's the problem right there. I hate to say it but the gov needs to step up and start regulating what growers are aloud to put into their grows. Because it's a battle for that top shelf at the dispensery and you can bet your life some, if not most of those growers are pumping their plants full of pgr's. Why wouldn't they? I mean besides being an actual fucking human of course. But, "they gotta family to feed" and their clean weed ain't selling because so many other growers are using the same fucking steroids in their grows. No other product EVER has had a market value like cannabis. They're getting filthy rich. and we've all been groomed since who knows when.

    Diversity is not a strength at least not for humans. The more diverse a city is, the worse off it is. Where as city's with less diversity are more friendly and relatable. You can see it in almost every culture. Look a the city of Las Vegas. Very diverse and very dangerous. And people still segregate themselves, the northwest is more white, the northeast is majority black and south is Spanish. Diversity is not a strength it is weakness. I bet half of people that live in citys don't know their neighbors.
