its had a 98 spec conversion. The 96spec hubs and anti roll bars have been removed and replaced with 98spec ones. And using 4 bolts in a 5 stud hub wont work as they are a different stud pattern.
@OldsPowered69 As far as i'm aware the Integra Type R didnt get released in America, you guys only got it in standard form. So any Type R's you see in America are either imported or converted. The UKDM Type R'S came in white, black and red from the factory but the JDM came in the same colours as well as a bright yellow and a dark grey. But the Type R's are completely different from the standard Integra with different engine/internals, transmision and interior. Hope this helps.
@GillAttwal Thanks dude =) Got the 1/4 mile time down to 14.0 at the end of last year. I was using toyo T1R's which are great on track but a bit slippery when wet on road but they are great for fast road and the odd track day, think i've done 2 track days on them and the're still good. 888 are the way to go for ultimate grip but they wear seriously quickly =0 As for brakes, think i was using standard disks on yellow stuff pads and they didnt need replacing after track use
Nice vid! :) How did you rate the 3.4kg Fidanza Flywheel? Any issues? I've just watched your video to make sure that the one I've got in front of me now is the right one for a DC2-ITR and I'm almost positive it is. It's just that when it arrived - it had no identification whatsoever, other than some etched batch and serial numbers and a sticker with a matching number. Also, did you 'Loctite' the Pilot Bearing to the Centre Bore of the flywheel before fitment?
@lennythegreat83 you may very well be right on the North American ITR dilemma. The ITR came with a B18c, right? Thank You for the info, much appreciated!
hey buddy, i actually dont know much about the ITR, just was curious..did your's come factory with yellow paint? or are dc2's factory white? sweet car, looks fun.
@lennythegreat83 well, as far as the left hand drive one's in North America all were produced in a yellow paint(which i was told by various honda owners, and have only seen them in this yellow color) and was curious if that was a trait to only those vehicles in north america. so are the jdm and ukdm ITR's produced in white? im from southern california, where emissions are heavily monitor'd and gas is only 91oct. piss, so maybe the ones here could be sort a speak "watered down" equivalents?
Dude you should realy get either a harness bar or a partial roll cage so you have a point to mount your harness properly at a 45 degree angle. Mounting it to the floor is dangerous if you get in a decent crash it can crush your spine and that ain't pretty
I have a white teggy gsr clean as fck and I want to build a type r clone I'm talkin spoiler,red type r seats,knob,red Honda badge, the hole deal! Is it worth my time and money?
@TJisILLMATIC My miata stereo type is a fact, everyone know that. Your car will never kick my ass on the track. I'll do laps around you and still have time to change my tires before you finish a lap. I know you didn't said a thing about awd. I just told you what your going to be up against...
you have to change the hubs over to achive this ?! it may be the same pcd mate but because there is only 4 studs they will be in different places than the 5mate! honest it wont work so dont bother trying it! i own a 2000 itr and i am an engineer so i know what im talking about!
it sounds dangerous to me, considering most people who own DC2's drive them very hard lol. when you look at his car he has got 5 studs in his wheels, i reckon he is using an adapter.
@lennythegreat83 edge, by the skin of your teeth, was made 10 years earlier and just 1.8 NA, one of the best looking cars ever made and great engine, ive always wanted one, but insurance at 19 its not going to happen, so i bought a 93 EG 1.3 with a b18c4 conversion 175bhp 915kg, that slightly edged a modded DC2, DC2 needs a f20c to be porn.
@TJisILLMATIC I do know your kind, your family helped you bought that car when you were 16. If the miata doesnt have a LS1 swap, its going to be a waste of gas for me. sorry
@TJisILLMATIC your probably in your teens. Get a car that you actually own put some work into it. If you live in Florida, we'll meet up and race for some money, ok?
@TJisILLMATIC A Miata!!!!! LMAO, I wouldnt admit that on here!!!! Over here thats known as a hairdressers car, basically something a gay would drive! dont care if you was 16 or 61! sounds like you had a mid life crisis early on in life. Do a bit of research on DC2 and fwd track car and you'd be surprised by how many cars get owned by it. Out of curiousity, what do you drive?
The itr is the God of Hondas and I been fortunate to have owned 2 of them,I miss them so much.
i have a black DC2, and it's such a nice car to drive!
i love it!!!

Prodigy - Spitfire
Thanks man =)
@GMCMan29 but the earlier ones had 4 stud, it was revised on the 98 spec, which had 5 stud and bigger discs on the front not to sure on the rears.
its had a 98 spec conversion. The 96spec hubs and anti roll bars have been removed and replaced with 98spec ones. And using 4 bolts in a 5 stud hub wont work as they are a different stud pattern.
@3ridetec hell yeah!! ^^
@lIlDuDElIl Yeah it was. It was 1/4 mile run.

I dont own a honda.... but even i liked it lol
@MrCdance1983
agreed, they may have a bit better acceleration due to the turbo, but we absoultley munch them around a track.
ooh, an NSX!
NSX
@GillAttwal Thanks dude =) Got the 1/4 mile time down to 14.0 at the end of last year.

@TJisILLMATIC I think its Funny when people under estimate FWD on the Track.
@Mubble Yeah it is =)

Great video!! exhaust sounds good! Have you had any problems passing sound checks on trackdays?
@XxJxDEEZYxX
CPL Racing in the UK. They sell aftermarket as well as make customer/bespoke parts and ship worldwide.
@OldsPowered69 Im confused =/ mine is white, and yes they it did come out the factory like this.
@fd2mugenRR1 Thanks mate. No I dont have the car anymore =(
@hardhaz
I beg to differ...I raced an ST round a track, I have a DC2 with minimal mods, roughly 200 brake and he was long gone!
some of that video looked like Rainham, Kent...... is it?!"!? lol
Nice vid! :) How did you rate the 3.4kg Fidanza Flywheel? Any issues? @GMCMan29 5 stud from a 98 Spec JDM
@hardhaz
does anybody watch at you when you come around?
Hi, what did you change to make it a 5 bolt? You needed wheels, hubs, discs.....did you use the same callipers?
how did you get the 98spec wheels on the 96 spec teg? i thought 96 hubs were 4 stud not 5? are you running them through an adapter?
can this car swapp engines with a prelude???
@lennythegreat83
is its for sale mate???? beautiful car...
@illumanist1 With the right engine mounts yeah. But your better off putting a K20 from a DC5 into a Prelude =)
How can i find thos tail lights?
hey buddy, i actually dont know much about the ITR, just was curious..did your's come factory with yellow paint? or are dc2's factory white? sweet car, looks fun.

What a nice car. I too love to own the real DC2 without any mod done to it. Just a true plain Type R. It have to be white!
@omid11 For a 1.8 na car thats quick!!! You clearly know fuck all!!!
Dude you should realy get either a harness bar or a partial roll cage so you have a point to mount your harness properly at a 45 degree angle. Mounting it to the floor is dangerous if you get in a decent crash it can crush your spine and that ain't pretty
