Love these 'hands on' videos - interesting and productive, thanks Tony :)
Thank you...watching these instructions while I wait for mine to arrive. Very helpful!
Noice ! Really like the built-in equatorial wedge - could even do some short-exposure astrophotography, or webcam planetary imaging
Thanks for the video. It should help beginners a lot.
Awsome video. Where was this when I bought mine and didnt have a clue? Thanks again and keep up the great work
Great video, very useful - many thanks
Thank you for your video showing such a portable telescope even if you are an expert. I am thinking of acquiring it as a travel telescope. Congratulations
Great videos man very informative
Now you are ready for the next star parties 👍
Super helpful. Thanks!
This is fantastic, thank you.

Nice tutorial!
Very interesting. Thank you. I'm still debating which telescope to buy. Celestron Nexstar 5SE or Celestron Nextar 130SLT.
Hello friend! How do I use the Nikon p1000 with my celestron nexstar 5se? Thank you for the great videos!
Hi sir I have a celestron 4SE but it is not moving side ways . Motors are making good noise but rotation to sideways is nil. Plz help
At the 3:43 mark of the video you rotated the telescope by hand. Is this OK on this model? I had a Meade that couldn't be moved with out loosening a knob to release the motor and gears. I am learning my new Celestron.
Nice video. I learned a lot. I got got my 5SE yesterday. How can I align during the day for the up coming eclipse? I have a Spectrum solar glass filter for it. so no worries there.
still have a problem with my telescope. star sense aligns. yet i can not see anything . i wonder if its the silver stick with numbers? i am in nyc.
Use rechargable Nimh batteries or a Lipo power pack instead of alkalines. They last a lot longer! I have an older version of that scope.
I am trying to assemble the accessory tray, but the center rod is too short to accommodate the spring and knob. Any idea?
I have the star sense camera. I aligned my telescope. I have problem. I cant see anything in the viewfinder. Cover is off. Can any1 help? Yes its calibrated. I dont see no light from viewfinder.
I purchase that same telescope, but the tray spring and knob don't fit in the center thread. What that can be?
I mistakenly selected italian as my language and now I can't see how to change it. what should I do?
Do you ever record your observations ?
How easy is it to transport?
Is this worth buying if you live 5 miles from Orlando?
Is there a telescope I could setup in my terrace and command it from the comfort of my bed using my iPad? Thanks for the great video. Signed: couch potato! ;-)
yes the celestron evolution mount and other mounts you can control them from a phone or tablet with the celestron sky portal app its a free download check out the opt web site optcorp.com/ and click mounts

Are you suppose to remove the round mirror on the telescope.
I cant see anything.
I kniwvi remove the cover but am i suppose to remove the round small piece ?
Did you find out what to do? I got a similar problem. Just a dark spot in the middle and milky white spots around it
I have a hypothesis. I have this same problem of not seeing anything. When I was going through my package today, I looked through the 25mm eyepiece. When I put my eye directly onto the eyepiece, it appeared blurry. However, when I kept my eye away from the eyepiece looking through it, it was clear.
To me it was a focusing issue. Try to focus on sthg very far away during daytime, then focus on the moon during nighttime and everything else should be more or less in focus
How many objects are pre stored?
There are a little over 38k objects in the database, with extended information (meaning you can drill down to get more detailed info) on over 200 objects. Most of the biggies are there: Messier catalog and the most interesting NGC objects.
And shortly after this video.... Red bull literally gave him wings. Slow down partner
Is it heavy?
After I align mine (regardless of method), when I select an object to "GO-TO" all it does is start to spin non-stop on it's alt-axis until I kill the power. I have a good PSU. I tried batteries. Nothing I do fixes this. Any ideas of the problem?
the batteries can be a issue with the celestron se model the celestron evolution ALT AZ mount look very similar to the SE but comes with a internal battery that lasts the night easily it cost a little more but it well worth it I.M.O. you can even charge your phone or tablet from the mount .the alternate is to get a celestron power tank or contact O.P.T for other options as you will need power for heater strips/dew control to keep condensation free on the front lenz / corrector plate on a SCT scope.. thanks tony great video

Very true, I found that the batteries were strong for a couple of nights, then needed to be changed. I'd also recommend the ac adapter or an external power source like the one you mentioned.
