@@JinxMarie1985 you see my main problem with breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom is because I’m blind or visually impaired. I just think the overworld looks so overwhelming to me. I need that linear experience otherwise I’m not gonna know what the heck I’m supposed to do. And that’s where echoes of wisdom comes into play. It takes everything we know about breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom and kind of simplifies it in the top down perspective.
@@Juan_blooms ohhh I see thats great then!! Im glad that they do that for people with all different kinds of abilities or disabilities if you want to call it whatever, personally for myself BOTW was better than TOTK for various reasons but yeah its such a giant map. TOTK even bigger.

@@JinxMarie1985 thank you it’s going to be a fun experience and it’s not like I haven’t played 3-D Zelda games before in the past. I did beat ocarina of time, but that’s only because things were a lot more limited and for a better experience I did play the 3DS remake.

1. Possible Sheikah powers in EoW. Zelda was trained in their ways in different timelines.
2. Possible Sea travel in EoW. Zelda was a pirate in a different timeline.
3. Possible allies & enemies. Zora, Gerudo, etc.
4. Expanded map. I hope it is all the previous maps overlapped. Ex. As far North as Hytopia, Snowpeak & Tatari Desert, as far West as Gerudo Desert, as far South as Ordon Village & as far East as Maze Island. As far up as Skyloft & far down as the Depths.
5. Possible weapons & equipment.
6. Possible spells.
Maybe it's a sequel to a link to the Past/Oracles games/Link Awakening since it has the same sprite and Ganon? Either way, I can't wait for this. Great video. Hope you are doing well.

I find it really odd that this is the first zelda game to have both regular Zora and river Zora. Also Gorudo in a 2d game?! I think it's probably before all the the other zelda games in the downfall timeline bc of the deku tree, the zoras, and the gorudos

Yeah ages had both and they hated each other, which seems to be the case in this one as well
It almost seems like this is going to be an alternate timeline of A Link To The Past where after Link defeats Ganon he instead gets captured in the dark realm and then Zelda has to save him. That’s why there’s so much similarities to A Link To The Past. That’s my take on some of this crap.
I am really excited for EOW. I love the idea of playing as Zelda.

I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, it seems like we’re finally getting a TRUE Zelda game (not because we’re playing as Zelda, but because it looks like it’ll be closer to its roots than the BOTW games), but on the other hand, they clearly didn’t get it when we told them that we don’t want those nostalgia-pandering graphics!
Links awakening art style was recieved very well tho
They should've rereleased TP and Wind Waker for the 20th Anniversary! Sadly Wind Waker didn't get port in 2022 then idk what will happen in 2026 🧐

This needs a prequel and it can't be links awakening because that was a dream we need to know how link got there and the echo ability is basically just that one ability from totk can't name it but it creates things you created except the echo just creates this will be a fun mechanic and i would even want to do a video on this myself but what i won't do is update the game best chance for glitches

Well I guess if they ever do a remaster of the Minish cap or Oracle of seasons and ages then it will probably be in this same art style. Link between worlds used a similar art style too

I really like the graphic style of these newer top down Zelda titles…the only time i can say i didn’t like the art style for a Zelda game it was wind waker tho still a great game ..the best art style for any Zelda game was Twilight Princess

Im betting speedrunners are gonna break the "echo" mechanic once it comes out. Like you CANNOT give a player a mechanic like the item echo wand and not expect them to like try building to the sky box or something

there are like 30 other zelda games where you can fight with a sword. People like you are why nintendo likes to copy and paste the same generic stuff and is more hesitant to make original stuff like this.
@@maestrogeicho lol people like me have been wanting fresh new games from nintendo for the longest time, not remakes, not dumbed down versions of beloved franchises. This game is the same game except it took a top down perspective of Tears, took away sword and shield, threw in Zelda, and gave it style of Link’s Awakening. Sooooo innovative. What they should have done was just make a whole new game in the style of Link’s Awakening. Not a remake, not a puzzle solving game, just an entire new game like what they did with Majuras Mask in the style of Ocarina. Have fun having clones fighting your battles, throwing rocks and stacking tables to get places

Well actually I think it may possibly not be in the downfall timeline at all. At 5:30you can see the zoras of the fallen timeline communicating with the friendly zoras of the adult timeline. This could be something else though. Maybe the rifts act as a portal between timelines! Although that seems a bit ambitious

Yeah, I'm not here for it. I dont want to play any character in a Zelda game, besides Link. Thats who's adventures Ive been playing through sicne I was three feet tall.
Spinoffs and offshoots are cool and all, but with so frw 2D Zelda games being made, I'd rather that time and enrgy be spent making a fairly traditional game atarring Link.
Why? Because the 3d franchise has gone a compeltlwy different direction, and my hwloved classic formula only appears in 2D titles, in recent history.
I know I am going to sound like a hater here, but I just wanted to say that it's okay if you like how this game looks. I just personally wish it didn't take them 10 years to make a new Zelda 2D game with honestly one of my least favorite art styles in the series. It just makes the game look cheap and cutesy. It was fine for a GameBoy remake because that game was small in scale, but for a new Zelda game makes me so disappointed. And I admit that I don't really want to play as Zelda and would rather play as Link. When I think of a new 2D Zelda game, I think of this grand quest, not a cutesy game with some weird new gimmick.

Are you mad? Would you prefer we waited another 6 years for a big budget game? I think this is perfect, especially when it’s only been over a year after TOTK. I hope they make more games like this, I haven’t really played any of the old 2D games and I want Nintendo to recreate them all in this art style. To say that we have a complete brand new game in this art style and looks fairly open world is awesome
