First of all your video was wonderful Loved it and the modeling shots(I'm the queen of stinky videos remember....) This is one beautiful piece I tried it on and the straps were too short for me. I like a slouch in my backpack. I did however get two bags from the collection and I'm thinking of the keepall as well. I waited almost a whole year for these to launch and tried to be very good knowing I was going to invest in a few things. I am so sad I have to be stuck with only being available in Eclispe or black Epi. When will LV release it in Classic monogram or Macassar!? This is definitely on my 2019 wishlist.
I am surprised they have not added more materials to this style of bag, however it may not be very popular of a style so they did away with it. I feel epi is slowly making a comeback with popularity so when they did Epi I could see why and when they did eclipse it was still a relatively new line so it made sense to me.
I like Epi, and I have seen both models at my store. I wish I tried them on, but since it similar size to the Zack, I know this backpack would fit right on my frame. lol But ugh...I want a red version of the Epi Steamer Backpack so bad! I might go with Eclipse since I am open to getting the Apollo backpack. But I am thinking of opting for this in Eclipse steamer. Although not my favorite print.
I would not do the Eclipse in the steamer and in the Apollo... why have 2? if I had to choose id say do the Steamer in the Eclipse if it was between those two specifically. What if they decide to do an Apollo in Epi... I have been waiting for that, I mean they just did Taiga... but they have yet to do a Taiga Christopher... so im sure there are reasons as to why.

Hey! my view on the Hiking backpack... there are 2 listed on the website that are different so I will give my view on both. The Monogram one I do enjoy, I like the overall design of it but the metal buckles just kill it for me. I do not care for that type of closure on a bag myself, the metal does help it look more expensive I will say that! Now the other hiking backpack which is made up of several different prints sorta weaved into one I think is absolutely beautiful! I seriously love everything about it but the price is ridiculous at $12,200.00!
Would have loved to have see how irritating it is having to keep unlocking the lock to get into the bag. Not great when you're in a hurry. And how is the key kept attached to the bag so it doesn't get lost? There doesn't seem to be a swing key pouch like on Hermes bags. As attractive as it is, it does't seem like good design, more like something to just hang on the wall and look at.
It is NOT that irritating, its just not that CONVENIENT if you have to constantly go in and out of your bag. The key is not meant to be attached to the bag, the lock is just a feature, if you wish to use it that and actually lock it while in use.
Surely irritating and inconvenient are almost the same thing? How can the lock be just a feature if you have to constantly unlock it to get access to the bag? And where do you keep the key? I do think it cheap of LV to not have made a clochette for the keys to hang on the bag for this style. Don't misunderstand me, it is visually a great looking back. But it does not function properly and cannot be considered good design.

hey! I am going to go with no on that. If they were to carrier over this style backpack to a permanent collection I would be surprised, but never say never! :) For my sake, I hope not!
its not too bad, takes some getting used to. I would never use it with the lock on it for one. So once you remove both straps through you simply lift the lid and you are good to go. The bag is very stiff (assuming since its new obviously or it's just made that way which is fine too for me) I did not do any interior shots because of the lighting and trying to hold the flap open while filming just would not work. I can do pics though for anyone and will post them on IG
