May not be as bad as you think they probably only had to film through the whole thing once and assuming that they got some experts to come in I doubt that it would have had many issues with falling down. Really the only part they would have to reshoot would be the very end and it wouldn't be very hard to just set up the final part
@@VinnyGjokaj I don’t remember if she admitted it to Francis but she definitely admitted it to Reese after they both had a heart to heart in the aftermath of her avenging him. It was actually a very touching moment between the two considering how most of the time they’re both shown to be on opposing sides.
@@antithoughtpolice7497 Love comes in many forms. Deeply, she doesn't want any of them to fail. Even if Reese has his own talents, but is reactive and always getting into trouble. She loves him and won't let anyone hurt him. It's hard to explain that kind of dynamic to people but you and I both get why she did it and it cuts pretty deep.
I love the episode with Reese's teacher. It really shows that despite how much the family fights, they stick up for each other. Lois getting mad first at Malcolm, then Reese, then finally the teacher is the perfect reaction.
you watch this as a kid and you think man lois is a hardass, then you comeback and realize how much of a badass mom she was! In terms of her foresight and attitude for everything!
Not really. A lot of her "foresight" was based on self-fulfilling prophecies, essentially provoking the boys into becoming troublemakers just to give herself an excuse to be a control freak. Prior to that teddy bear incident which people like to reference, she was already a bad mother: she was hospitalized after giving birth to Francis, and when she recovered, she was *angry* that he wasn't screaming for her because Hal had actually been a responsible parent, so she decided to destroy his happiness out of jealousy. When your reaction to your child being happy is anger because you aren't the source of that happiness, you are unquestionably a *bad* parent. And then there's the ending, which proves beyond a doubt that she's insane. Malcolm stands no chance of becoming POTUS, and it'll be her fault that his life will be wrecked beyond repair, but she's so damn narcissistic that she won't accept that. She will die alone, unloved, and with all her dreams in tatters, with no one to blame but herself.
The best part of this show is that even in the last 2 seasons when plots became completely ridiculous and unbelievable, it was still one of the most realistic depictions of family and family dynamics ever on television. And it never lost it's comedy or character's charms.
