I love that method of sewing around the arm holes. My mother would have loved to have known about it. You call it a Pinafore; but, we call it a Jumper. This is the correct time of year for a wool Pinafore/Jumper. You look wonderful in it.

I’ve seen some lovely examples of this pattern. I really like the bodice method. I haven’t come across that before. I have a choice of 3 fabrics.. and a free day tomorrow 😊

just sewed my third pinafore with jersey - the lining is a little bit fluffy and likes to show up on the outside of the bodice - do you think i could topstitch it on the outside of the bodice, too? i guess it gets more stand with that... what you think?

This is beautiful! Could you tell me how the sizing would work for a much smaller bust than your smallest size? (Practically non existent). Would it be better if I don’t put the darts in?
It’s not overly big on the bodice … you could also do a small bust adjustment … what size are you xxx

The Fleur is gorgeous! I love the high "waist." Can you tell me how much ease is intended for the bodice? I'm between sizes on the bust and I'm not sure if I should size up or down.
It’s not overly big with a 4cm positive ease … I’m 38B bust and make size 12 xxx

Yes of course you can simply add the top tier only and you can just add length to it xx
