Because Bowser built the traps and roads in his castle, this means that he will win the race almost every time as he knows his track more than anyone else. He's setting them up so he can win. Bowser is deceiving them

N64 bowser's castle Wii remake and mario kart 8 Bowser's castle are my favorites.
I love MK8's bowser's castle because of how awesome the music and actual track is because the castle is built with cannons, his airships, and a giant bowser mech just makes him look like he's ready for a war.
I love N64 Bowser's castle Wii remake because of how desolate the outside is because it's in the middle of a lava ocean just shows how secretive Bowser is. Plus the music and how little we see of this giant castle makes me feel like there is something Bowser is hiding something big in the rest of the castle.
Like Rainbow Road, Bowser's Castle is always a fun course with unique music. Mario Kart 64 is definitely my favorite among them.

SNES, Double Dash and DS are more underrated than this one. Because this one from N64 got remade in Mario Kart Wii, the second most popular Mario Kart game. While these three I mentioned never got remade in any game of the series.

Edit: I have no memory of writing this comment or seeing this video but my opinion still stands, I would love a remake of those two as they are my two favourite tracks in the "bowsers castle" series, As much as I love the gba courses music, I think its remade alot, not that its bad or anything,
Besides, ds rainbow road and bowsers castle are two tracks in mkds that have not been remade yet officially, as to state someone else here I think bowsers castle wii would be cool too, but id prefer the 2 I mentioned, thanks for reading

They went from creepy and nerve-racking in the SNES one to straight-up nightmare fuel in the N64 one and then toned the terror factor way down from GBA onwards lol (they all still slap though)

All the other BC themes are kinda moody, almost dreadful, MK8’s BC just completely rocks out hard, MK7’s BC hits somewhere in between having serious undertones and a hard bass while going pretty hard with the metal vibe, it just works

I just noticed that DS Bowser's Castle has the same melody as Airship Fortress. Just slightly off-beat.

I've come to describe Bowser's Castle tracks as being either a "dance rave" or a "haunted house". There are exceptions like 3DS being a mix of both.
Always preferred the "dance rave" side by a lot personally. ^^'
