Man the sound has been really wonky lately. The reactors' voices randomly dip from audible to barely there, while the video they react to is stable throughout.
And it's been only 5 or so videos and they still haven't fucking noticed. Am losing my marbles here, either they have nobody who does editing, the editor doesn't care or they have nobody with sound engineering knowledge to fix the goddamned microphone. Jesus please fix this shit already LOL, 50% of the last few videos WE CAN'T HEAR WHAT YOU GUYS ARE SAYING, AND QUITE LITERALLY AT THAT. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)
I love 15, it’s like if the room was given a budget of a hundred million dollars and decade of talented people but kept the insane leadership and forbade everybody from communicating with everybody else
Rhapsody: A musical adventure is an old school ps1 RPG that's musical. It's absurdly heartwarming. You fight evil pancakes in a forest then sing with your fairy companion about how you are in love with the prince, to give you an idea of the theme
Max0r the Legend returns! I love the Latin translations of their names lmao. Also, on the audio side, your audio needs to be louder, the video is drowning you out a tad
Crypt of the necrodancer - first thing that comes to mind that someone says musical game, in sense that there is a lot of music involved Oh and there is bard's tale 2004 of course, with many great jingles through the game - you can easily google some of them.
To be fair, the game cheated for me by having a fishing minigame. Just wishing that they would remove gladio, my hatred for him is immeasurable and I won't explain why.
the main downside for me is the boyband squad. I wouldn't mind as much if they had character like Auron and Kimahri (FFX) or Barrett and Red XIII (FF7), just to add more variation to the characters. then the random summon system , as Max0r said, it ruins the fun when they came out uninvited. other than that, I don't have many major complains. FF15 is like a bundle of meme put together.
@@HenSt-gz7qj My biggest gripe was the continual violations of 'show, don't tell'. Noctis and Lunafreya love each other, but they get zero screen time together to show it. The longer nights are having a devastating effect on civilization, except we don't get to see it. Insomnia was sacked, but we don't even see the city until the very end. Tenebrae was sacked, but we don't see it at all. The empire was consumed from the inside out by demons, but we only see a little of the aftermath. The entire post-timeskip part could have been similar to the World of Ruin from FFVI, except we don't get to explore it at all. Important characters died or disappeared too quickly. Max0r was right about the dev team simultaneously having too much and too little money. Too much focus on irrelevant BS, too little focus on the important stuff. We're told about all these important and/or exciting things, but never get to experience them.
8:20 Both Metal Gear Rising and Devil May Cry 5 have vocal tracks as you do better in the game, thereby making them a musical. It also helps that they are very good games.
The closest thing i can think of to a musical game (other than obviously the entire genre of rhythm games) is Sayonara Wild Hearts. It's basically a playable album of music videos. And really good music at that
Your not late to the final fantasy train every game is a different story told in a alternative universe you could start anywhere in the series and you wouldn't be lost
There are always weird animals in Final Fantasy and the story is usually pretty nuts, but a lot of them are significantly more coherent than 15. Ask the internet in general, and you'll notice that 6, 7 and 9 get recommended a lot because of the depth, coherency and symbolism in their stories. I'd also personally say that 10 and 12 are pretty good. There are also particularly dedicated followings for 8 and 13, but they are widely recognised as absolutely batshit insane by anyone who isn't terminally JRPG poisoned.
6,7,9 are the typical JRPG story I guess , while 12 is pretty much medieval fantasy, and 10 is kinda "balanced" in a way (between tribal, medieval, and modern fantasy). 13 is like modern fantasy, could be much better thou... I just don't like the linear game-play and "semi-auto" battle system. Story-wise it's okay but the characters are pretty much underwhelming. 15 is ... 13 on steroids and open-world (almost) instead of linear. (didn't they originally planned for FF13-2 as FF15?)
8 is definitely not "batshit insane" - it's one of the most timid and accessible FF games in that regard in my opinion. Pretty western-oriented. Maybe not the best plot, but still has some amazing moments and the music is brilliant.
Or the reactioners don't know how to use microphones or the microphones aren't calibrated properly or the sound mixing is off, but most of the videos outside the Chicago Reacts study you used to have have parts that can't be heard at all.
I love final fantasy 15 is my favorite game And your not late for final fantasy since final fantasy game don't connect Except if they have -2 in there Title to let you know is the Direct sequel to that final fantasy game so you can play any final fantasy game with out knowing the other games
Balan Wonderworld is the closest thing I can think of to a "musical game". It's kinda terrible but a lot of the meme reviews I've seen of it sum it up well; "wtf is this".

Tim eats cake is correct. This is an older recording when we first changed

John Fantasy, John Doom, John Darksoul, John Bloodborne… why are they all named John? Are they related?
Its their family name

Did I enjoy my own playthrough of FFXV?
Absolutely.
Does the game have problems?
Absolutely.

No such thing as too late, my 2nd final fantasy game was 14, first one was 15. right now working my way backwards with 12 and the 7 remake.
at 3:35 you talked about scars. I think characters that have scars are either battle maniacs or betrayed (in anime)
There's so many of them in so little time because the ring ages you incredibly fast. Noctis' dad is like, 40 I think.

Indeed, Final Fantasy 16 is on the horizon too
Thanks for the reply lazy:)
I know a GREAT game based off a musical, it's called Arm Joe, I recommend Grayfruit's video on it, he goes pretty in depth with explaining it too

@@dirzz Idk lol, I didn't even play it, just reporting on popular opinion. People say it's weird and confusing pretty often.
You're never late to Final Fantasy train. Because there's a new train for each numbered game altogether.
Well Final fantasy is not as chaotic as it sounds but it's definitely full of weird animals and monsters.
PaRappa the Rapper is such a good classic game that has been remastered for PlayStation consoles. Hilarious, difficult, and just random musical game.
If we want to get technical about games that are musicals... by definition, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is a musical
Why is there an entire bleeding asparagus on the lasagna?
Patapon is a cute lil rhythm strategy game
Is Final Fantasy always this chaotic? Not really. The weird animals are pretty standard though.

It's really fun to watch someone pretend to care about something... Let alone understand it (the speed has nothing to do with it)

The volume is really low on this video.
It's just when you are talking.
You "can" have a photo of an instant ramen cup, which you can show to your waifu, at the end
i showed her a picture of my boybands in the hotel together... wonder what she'd think about that.
If yall are watching this, where is badgers new video
"that seems like a lot." welcome to every final fantasy ever lol.
except the first 3 Final Fantasy... they're pretty generic JRPG.
