My gd Life story: One day in like 2015 or something i downloaded gd lite on my moms phone. I then GRINDED my way through the levels up to cant let go, where i got stuck. I had to get my sister to beat it for me. Then I quit. A few months later i returned to the game (mom gave me the phone), and being more mature and older (8 instead of 7) I was finally about to beat Cant Let go!!!!!! i beat it. I also beat Jumper. Afterwards i remember spanding about 350 attempts in practice mode trying to beat Time Machine ( in practice mode). I was DEDICATED. A week later, 100%. I had beaten Time Machine. I was a god. Later that year my mom got a new phone and my progress was wiped. A few years later though, I decided to redownload the game. I rebeat every level up until Time Machine, but now with the newfound wisdom of being able to skip half the triple spikes in the level by holding at the beginning, I easily conquered it once more. But there was something different. Something new. Cycles??? A ninth level?????? But there were only 8 levels in the game!!??!?!?! A new level had been added to Geometry Dash Lite Edition. Cycles. I grinded and grinded but eventually I beat it. I was getting so frustrated at the level that i almost broke my moms phone screen dying at that stupid ass fucking jump orb part with the triple spike next to the portal. A few months later, a new level dropped in gd lite along with. Xstep. The hardest challenge yet. It took me over a THOUSAND attempts of nonstop grinding and begging my mom for the phone and yelling in public at the screen and a last ship 96% death for over a month, but I finally beat it. Bliss. Peace. I finally thought my struggles were over. But one last challenge was yet to come. Clutterfunk. I was making steady progress at first, but eventually, i cracked. The level was so hard, so annoying, so brutal. I thought I would NEVER beat it! But after 2000 attempts. It finally came. I had beaten it. I had challenged the final frontier and won. I was the best in the world ever. This took me almost a fucking year. This was around the time I was introduced to gd youtube, with levels like Cataclysm and windy landscape and supersonic, and ultrasonic, and the ultimate phase, and stalemate, and jawbreaker. But i knew, deep in my heart, everything there would never be able to top top the absolute achievement that was Clutterfunk.
When i was little, i remember making a joke that at that point i tought was funny. I would go and ask someone,"do you know what?" then they have to say," no?" and then im like," me neither and it was the funniest thing ever.
