wow i wasted hours trying to do this in maya/ mash, what an awful experience. tyflow and this tutorial got me what i needed in like 10 minutes. thank you!
That's why even that I most use 3D max, I keep watching all other software to see what and how they do things tp break the "if you only have only hammer everything looks like nail" mentality :)
This was really handy and a good outcome also. Is there a way to bake that out? With MassFX when you bake out the simulation I can have it interacting with max fluids, can you bake the output of this out so if the container was full of liquid the objects would interact?
@@FXPearStudio Perfect thanks for that, a video would be great. I am a somewhat older gent 50+ and some of the documentation is a little much to get my head around but videos and then replicating, reverse engineering what I see - that's how I like to work things through.
I will make a quick video about it. Basically add a box or other geo, add Surface test -> Volume inside and send to Delete. Quite simple. Let me know if you got it.

Every time I need a simple thing like this I so glad I can find a tyflow tutorial. I really appreciate this.
I created this channel as a "library" indeed :)
Great, how would you add liquid

Yes, there is indeed. There is a Export Particles operator to do just that. If what, I make a video about it. Quite simple.
