Im with you. I dont really care about drag racing. I love road racing. I met a few people at the track who really dont care about cars. They only like driving fast. I find that pretty interesting. I love cars and byilding them, but i can appreciate people who enjoy driving fast.
It’s going to take a lot of practice to get a used to that setup. You really gotta map out how you are going to shift and push the button in between shifts. Good luck brother

I just did a test on my street tires. Seemed okay to launch, shift to 2nd and then hit the switch.
I think he'll be fine, hes been driving this car for years and its not making a ton of power

I feel like 90% of all evo's on sitting on jack stands right now have "built" motors. I love my OEM shortblock.
