- I am not superstitious at all, but I like to think that the results of the first pan of the year are indicative of how the year is going to treat me gold wise. And if that is the case, this year is going to be AMAZING! Because the results of the first pan of this year were AMAZING!

I am really looking forward to your adventures this year. Today is Feb. 21 so spring is less than a month away. We have had a very mild spring here in northeastern PA right along the Susquehanna River. We had a thunder storm, with lightning and small hail today and it's just weird winter weather. The ground isn't even frozen yet and it would appear that our climate is indeed changing. Anyway, can't wait to get out with you this year. I'm 73 years old and having trouble getting around but I can still go on adventures with Dan Hurd!!

Yeah it's going to be a great year for you and your's. I love the Thompson River claim. The scenery is beautiful and even more so across the river. The train tunnels remind me of the Roman columns and it's just gorgeous.
