Hey all. I've had mine on for almost 2 years and I'm just taking it off today. It's a great sound around town and on short trips, but the constant drone at highway speeds is just too much to take. At certain RPMs it's just impossible to listen to and unfortunately those are the RPMs when I'm cruising on the freeway. I found myself putting in ear plugs which is just over the top. My only other complaint is that the black paint peeled off within the first 15 minutes of running which is just a joke but not that big of a deal either. This video was great and it was really easy to install as others have said. If you don't care about highway drone, this is a good option.

All comes down to what kind of tone you're looking for, honestly! A muffler delete is going to give you a little more volume and more of a "raw" tone, you'll see some people report a bit of drone with a muffler delete too. With an axle-back system like this you'll see an increase in volume over the stock muffler, a deeper exhaust note, but you won't see nearly as much drone. It'll be more of a cleaner sounding exhaust note overall in comparison. -Zach
I’ve installed this on my JL, I’ve noticed the exhaust was not even, the right side is lower than the left side and the unevenness is noticeable, how can I make the exhaust even? do I need to reinstall and realign the hangers? Any suggestion would help. Thank you.
Given the price point, it’s to be expected - BUT, it is SUPER easy to fix. Notice how far the metal rod extends out from where it connects from the hanger, to the muffler body. That rod can be very easily bent in shipping. Depending on how you want to go about things, there are two ways to go at it. Bend up the higher side rod so it hangs lower, or bend down the lower side rod so it pulls that side up. Either way, putting firm pressure on the farthest end of the rod will let you adjust that side’s height. Whatever is easiest for you will straighten the left-to-right lean.
Hey, Brian! I would *assume* that since the 4xe is paired with the 2.0L Turbo engine, then most axle-back exhaust system should work. But until there are products tested or designed specifically for the 4xe, I can't say for sure. This may be a good question for some forums or Facebook Groups! I would check out the JLWranglerForum to see if anyone else has looked into this! -Zach

Thanks, I was looking for black exhaust but worried about the drone.
I love the look of this on my JLU willys. Install was quite easy as well - took me just under an hour with hand tools working off my back.
Thanks for watching! -Zach

Thanks for another solid video Meredith. I'll definitely take a look at this as I haven't upgraded anything on my Jeep's exhaust.
Great Video!! So are the clamps effective to the point where I won't need to have the new exhaust welded?
Yep! Definitely no need to weld this system. -Zach
Just put this on my Jeep yesterday. Way louder than in the clips. A lot of drone. Plus it’s off the the right about an inch.
I agree.
Which would be better, this exhaust or a muffler delete? In terms of pitch and tone.

Same thing with me, i tried to take it off and put it back on but it was still off, im fine with it though

I've seen some people install this on a 2.0 is this correct?
You definitely could install this on a 2.0L turbo! -Zach
@@extremeterrain Awesome! thanks!
Is there a similar option for the 4xe?
UA-cam needs a facepalm emoji....
@@ORION-OVERLAND it’s a hybrid, not a full electric vehicle.
