I'm grateful the Hobonichi store had those close-up images of the Porky plush from all angles--I was about to break out the green screen and photograph them myself so they saved me a lot of time 😅
Man, the earthbound soundtrack is so f’ing beautiful! Earthbound was always my favorite game growing up, so everything about that game evokes some intense nostalgia.. especially the music! I also wish I was able to play Mother 3 as a kid.

Thank you! I'd love to have been able to actually go in and change the code, but I don't know how, and so it will remain an animation for now...the text was all edited in Photoshop too!
im such a big fan of both series that if something like this happened, I think I’d just fall in love with the game right there.
Okay, Pokey Means Business should definitely be playing for this battle instead of his theme from Mother 3, otherwise this is awesome.
I can imagine this being an easter egg in a paper mario game or something
So I decided on his theme from MOTHER 3 instead because Pokey Means Business was never officially remastered in any way--the initial fight with Culex in Mario RPG on Switch uses the Super Nintendo song, while the Culex 3D fight is fully orchestrated. To keep that spirit intact, I used the Game Boy Advance music for pixel-Porky, then the revamped version from the MOTHER 3i soundtrack for his plush (3D) form. If Pokey Means Business had two versions like this I would have used it!

I wish it was a hack, I'm honored you thought it was! I animated this with Premiere & Photoshop w/ a whole lot of patience 😅 I found a very close font, then added each letter of text frame by frame as a separate PNG placed over the original!
@@ThaneGaming yeah, I figured it out halfway through, specificly when I saw that Porky 3D photoshop.
Had a good laugh!
The first part was truly believable though.
Haha, I tried to figure out a way to make that part more believable as well, but Culex 3D's too big (the crystals were in the way too)! I wound up embracing the silliness and now it kinda looks like Culex is just holding the Porky plush in front of him lol @@Spearel18
