Tachanka from the South (1977)

An adventure film by the Kyiv Film Studio of Feature Films named after Alexander Dovzhenko, directed by Evgeniy Sherstobitov. Based on the story of the same name by Alexander Varshaver.
The events of the film reveal to the viewer the turbulent 1920s, when numerous bandit groups operated in Ukraine. The plot centers on Operation Tachanka from the South, the goal of which is to destroy the gang leader, penetrate his lair and carry out clear, well-thought-out actions by the team. But will the plan be realized?
