Thank you for this! I'm getting the same sized tank and needed to ensure I got a light that could pump out 200+ PAR at the bottom. I hope as a community we can start tracking this data in a central location.
I am seriously thinking about wrgb 2 pro and was confused between that or the s line by twinstar. Your video helped understand many things. I do have one question, the chihiros app and the bluetooth connectivity has many complaints, is that true?
I’ve got a 80cm x40cm x40cm (odd size) and was thinking about doing wrgb2 60cm with hanging kit. You think I’d still be able to get good enough coverage? Really like the adjustability of the chi lights. Nice video!
Styling is def nicer for the Twin. But the no app kills me, also the 3 color hasn’t grown on me yet, it has been a while. I def like the Twin Light 2 though.
How are the plants growing with the ledstar? I saw the comment in the other video regarding poor plant growth with it, want to know if you're also getting the same result. I'm contemplating whether to get the ledstar or a chihiros instead.
Yea the color is on the cooler side, def an acquired taste type of thing. And yea my plants seem to be growing and coloring up, but the color is also coming from the lights
I came across your channel while looking for suggestions for a light for a 75 gallon i am about to setup, i was considering the fluval 3.0 but i realise i will need 2 lights so i was considering the Chihiros wrgb 2 120, i was wondering if the wrgb slim could work also? currently i have a 55 with a beamswork da fspec but my plants are only getting pink at the top of the tank and i really want to bring out the reds.
First off, welcome! Yea if you want beautiful plants go with the WRGB2. Originally I was hyped to get the wrgb slim to review and compare, but it’s not on level with wrgb2, its basically the Chihiros A-series.
Yea there was a shortage here too in the states. But now ppl are all stocked up. You cant buy from the states and ship to Canada? Or buy from China direct to ship to canada?
Brother I need to choose for my new 45 cm tank Twinstar 3 450sm Chihiros wrgb2 But our place chihiros is 100 usd more than twinstar So what would you suggest me
Oh man, thats a tough one since the wrgb2 is $100 more. If your mostly growing green plants, Twinstar 3 is a good choice, if you have more colorful plants, go with the wrgb2. The new Twinstar 3 is softer, so it washes out colored plants a bit. Also check out LEDSTAR Led, I currently use the Z series

Its only been a week and I got some plants that are hitting the waterline. In a week I’ll share a pic of my farm tank that I’m testing it on.
I got Ledstar C (similar to twinstar E/chihiros A). Other than kinda meh color rendition, everything seems to be growing just fine.

Can this light be used for saltwater (corals)?

@@TankTastic Thanks so much for the advice and quick reply.
How much does that par meter cost?
This one (which is the cheaper model) cost $450? You can rent it as well, that costs $35 for couple of days I believe…don’t quote me on that.

Thanks for the reply. Iv been looking to buy a chihiros rgb2 but cant find any in Canada and take it that Covid has caused the shortage
