This toyhunt was so fun me and ed going abroad i had the best time Feeling right at home in this tight community everybody was so nice to us thanks to everyone who came to the norwegian toy con and had a chat with us and gave us some presents we are not worthy Thanks to Anders for showing us around
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Alas not. I live far enough away that it's a heckin' expense for me to get there, I didn't even know the con existed, and ALSO I was kinda romping around the US at that point. I DID bring a couple of the Universal Monsters TMNT toys (had to get the Michaelangelo mummy in particular for the degraded costume head) and also one of the Last Ronin figures back from the US, so hey. Still got some stuff. Just - not from the con.
This was just a ton of fun I hardly participate in convention quiz or activities but over here everyone was involved it was so much fun. Do you go to conventions?
Biker Mice from Mars, cool. Next to Street Sharks and C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa easily one of the more popular TMNT rip-offs. What a great n' fun event the Norway Con seems, also the idea of the mystery boxes is pretty friggin' awesome. And you were being announced a special host, how cool is that!? Matty stealthely went Mighty mini TMNT, how he 's into Mighty Max 'esque pocket fig.'s I sure can't blame him. Man, that Bionic 6 collection was Mindboggling!? Moc, mib, complete... Wow!? Pretty amazing and that M.U.L.E.S. Van is one friggin' cool vehicle. Also that modern MotU collection really had all 'THE' modern pieces, sculpts were very impressive too. I'm familiar with the concept of an artist having a few extra copy's of their work for reserve, didn't realise though that the other copy then has to be destroyed. Coming to think of it however it makes sense, one could otherwise unrightfully obtain a double. A creative solution, to integrate the broken piece into the column for the new piece haha
This looked like such a fun con, with awesome people. Love seeing that Kenner Bone Age goodness and those blind boxes were wicked. Who would think there would be Wild West Cowboys of Moo Mesa in Norway!😂
I never got into the Cowboys of Moo Mesa. Saw the show a couple of times but it wasn’t my thing. Every time you come across the toys though it makes me wish I did have them as a kid. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to collect the vintage line but would jump on some modern figures. Especially if they homaged the original style of the vintage line like MOTU Origins.
Wow! Didn't know those space cowboys even existed! You know, if you're a diehard MOTU fan, this type of figures is definitely up your alley. Now I got to go out and hunt down for those. Great video, like always, Ed. Thanks
They’re actually really compatible with motu also 5.5 and they look so cool! Bravestarr was bigger but these you can just throw in. They also have the exchangers interchangeable limbs so you can mix and match 🤔 kinda like origins now … wait a minute?
