- Memorial to the most incredible, loving Golden Retriever who I could always count on to make me smile. His favorite thing in the world was just to be with me and follow me anywhere I would go. Saying goodbye was so painful. The house feels so empty and lonely without him.
We miss you so much, Casey. You were my everything. We will never forget you sweet boy!

Dogs are great are best friend forever they never tell your secrets always there ready to give the life for us if they have to. A family member.God please let me see my animals when I go .I sure do miss them all.

I dread the day I'll have to put my best retriever friend to sleep. She's 10.5 years old at this stage, still acts like a pup... I'm very sorry for your loss.
Dan Trenchard-Harry She passed away peacefully in our garden in April 2020, aged 14. Old age and cancer.

@@jamesbaxter8324 Thank you for your kind words. I cherish the memory of every single moment we’ve had and I’m not really sure if the grieving process will ever end, since it’s been 3 years now and I still miss the best girl. I still haven’t had another dog since then.
@@michalsobanski2388 I know what you mean about the grieving. I understand as we get older a commitment to getting another dog might not be possible. That was my case and I decided to help a wonderful rescue organization by fostering dogs for them.

I'm so sorry for your lost, my German shepherd died recently as well, I feel the same pain as you. He lived up to 14 years. I've even had before I was born, he always protected me when I was baby. But, your golden retriever and my German shepherd are both in a better place now, they are probably best buds right now and watching over us making sure we are safe. I wish you luck❤️💛💚💙💜💗💖💘💝💕💞💓💟😊😊
What a wonderful dog and a great memorial. It's so hard to say goodbye!
In Jan 2021 I had to put down my beloved 10 year old Labrador due to severe neurological issues. On a Sunday he was running around like a big, silly puppy. Three days later he was paralyzed from the neck down. There was nothing the veterinarian could do. I miss him every day.

I am missing my golden it’s been 5 years there is no night and don’t cry for him or think oh him he was my joy my life my everything and got took him away
I miss my girl more than words can express. A month after her death, I'm still crying daily... it's so hard.

I had my boy die in front of me at 2.5 yrs…broke my heart.He did leave us with 5 females and 1 male a month later.Thank you for sharing.I have tears watching him.
It is never easy saying goodbye i lost my Golden Baby on July 30th 2016 when i put her down she had cancer only had her for 7 and a half years from a rescue, it went so fast. I felt the same way the house was so empty and i felt so lonely without her my life will never be the same without her. I got a Pomeranian now from another rescue not the same as my lay back Missy but still a sweetheart.God Bless all the Golden Retrievers hope they all are having fun in Doggie Heaven

OMG!!!!😪😪😪. Such a sweet, lovely, handsome, and Golden R. boy! Thank you for making this tribute. I recently lost the last of my 3 rescue puppers to Multicentric B cell Lymphoma. I grew up with a Golden (blessed that he stayed with us in this earthly life just a few months shy of 16 yrs without any health related issues, aside from an ear infection). I am so sorry for your loss. Your boy is (was -> gah) BEAUTIFUL. You now have a guardian angel. What a precious soul. With love from Canada, Kimberly. ❤

I just lost my dog 2/18/2021. Our home feels empty without her presence.

I really like the music you chose for this it reminds me of the movie it went to hachi a dog's tale that movie was so sad with Richard gere that dogs love him so much it went to that train station everyday for 10 years the back to Your Casey he was with you for quite a few years to be a golden retriever you're very lucky it's hard when you have to put your best friend to sleep I had to do it with my little Jack Russell broke my heart I lost my best friend she was like a little person she knew what I was thinking before I did I really miss her just like I know you miss your Casey but always remember this they're gone but not forgotten you will see them again at rainbow ridge God bless you
What a awesome dog he was.On the1st o f December it will be1year since I lost my best friend buddy last year and it has been very emotional and hard with out him beside me every day.coming home from work isn't the same anymore going shopping and a hole lot of things that we did are not the same anymore.I miss my best friend buddy.that's his photo on my profile.

This lovely video I know what you are going through I just lost my beautiful golden boy Rocky only two weeks ago he was only four years old it was a complete shock so my heart goes out to you. The pic in the corner of my post is of my Rocky God bless you and your family

lost pupy 2007 ill both ill lost brother puppy both puppy partho other one strong ok but 2016 put sleep cancer .. ripped me dad heart out so blood blood painfull watch vet put sleep made us both very ill both hurting lost of a very truth lovelly bestfriend . gor me dad had storke fews week after we sadly lost dog illness. talk a bout much hurt now

+יוני מיקו So sorry for your loss. It's always so painful and heartbreaking to say goodbye.
Long story short, Casey suddenly developed a slight limp in his front left leg, so we took him to the vet to get him checked out. His vet took several x-rays, but couldn't find anything wrong so it was thought to be just a sprain. We were told to give him lots of rest and to bring him back in if it didn't get better.
Unfortunately, the limp did not improve and was only getting worse. He would no longer put weight on that leg, was in a lot of pain(pain meds not working), and needed help getting around. The vet examined him again and took more x-rays. The results were still inconclusive, so she referred us to a vet who specializes in neurology. The neurologist looked him over and checked out the x-rays, got his medical history, and asked lots of questions. He said it could be a number of things wrong, the main one he was thinking was that Casey may have a tumor growing on his spinal cord. The only way to know for sure was to have a MRI scan done.
At Casey's age the prognosis was not good, and even if we did find out through the MRI what was causing the problem, he only had a slim chance of recovery. We chose not to put him through all that, and decided it was in Casey's best interest to end his pain and suffering. He went peacefully, surrounded by all the people who loved and cared for him so much.
We put our dog Angel to sleep December 28th 2018. she was 17 years old. I looked at her grave several times watching this video. your dog was and still is beautiful. I am truly sorry for your loss. I look again at angels grave and think of her and your dog. peace to you.

goldenaxl Thank you for your kind words. Casey was so very special and brought so much joy and pleasure into my life. The pain I felt when he passed was far greater than I had ever imagined was possible. He was very loved and will be forever missed.
@@caseyhes3 I lost my once in a lifetime golden Axl in 2016 @ the far too young age of 8.5 to hemangio. It was a truly devastating experience. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him.

that horrible feeling of devastation. Losing my best friend was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. The hurt never completely goes, but in time the memories will bring you more joy than sadness. Best wishes to you.
What a beautiful dog and I can see how much he enjoyed being with you. It must of been a sad day when you helped ease his pain the only other way you could, very unselfish of you. My dog is 16 and 4 months, cataracts, going deaf, enlarged heart and now kidney disease. Although I am much older than you I don't know if I can make the decision to stop his pain when the time comes. I know its been five years since you lost your Casey but I know the great ones stay with you for the rest of your life. My sincere condolences on losing your precious boy.

I still think about him everyday. I'm so sorry to hear that you are facing some tough times with your sweet boy. To be able to have him still here with you for over 16 years is amazing. It shows just how much love and care you've given him! I wish you the best of luck to have the strength to make the difficult decision when the time comes. The final responsibility to our best friends is to relieve their pain even when it exacerbates ours. Having to eventually let them go is the gut-wrenching part of experiencing all the years of love and joy they bring into our lives.
@@caseyhes3 Thank you for the response. We are very lucky mine is still with us you are so right it is amazing! His two siblings are gone. I can only imagine how painful the decision was to let him go :( My wife and I are hoping Buddy passes in his sleep so we don't have to make the decision. My wife is the strong one when it comes to making those decisions. I am the creampuff. In the meantime we are just enjoying him still being here even if he doesn't do much anymore. BTW Buddy is a black and grey (from old age) miniature poodle. Stay well.
We said goodbye to our 17 year old dog Buddy on March 29, 2021 11 months after I posted my original comment about your dog Casey. I have been depressed since that day. I held him until he fell asleep. We've decided no more pets for us. Buddy love you and miss you.
