From the 1950s to the 1970s, every Sunday night was spent with my family, thrilling to The Wonderful World of Walt Disney! I miss those days; RIP, my dear family; see you when I arrive on the other side.
Mutual of Omaha wild kingdom then Disney we had a great childhood play outside all day pretending we were the swamp fox or Daniel boon or a bunch of other heroes like our dads
Disney movies back then, always had a great number of good character actors. And would,nt you know Parley Baer would be a Torrie! Now when I see Leslie Neilson I can,t get Naked Gun and other comedies out of my head. He was quite a versatile actor.😊
I remember being so excited waiting for Sunday night and watching Disney. You could run around outside at night with your friends on the block and have a good time. The only thing was the drop and cover at school but then we'd forget about it.
@@jjj1951 most of Walt's work was proceeded by a well written book. Today's Disney is a remake without the principles and values that made Disney famous. The kids today can laugh and call us BOOMERS. But we had better TV, the best music, and the coolest cars. And for $2 worth of gas we could cruse all of Saturday night looking for chicks that weren't total airheads.

I know it's shmaltzy and cornball, and dumbed down Disney-style, but I can't stop watching. It really takes me back to the days when my family and I would eat dinner in front of the TV.
Got a good laugh at the end. "The most dangerous filming location..." Reminded me of the story where NASA wanted Hollywood to "fake" the moon landing, but they said it would be too expensive to try and do it properly... they would have to shoot it on location instead! 😂 Thanks for the memories! I look forward to watching each of these as you release them and I have the time.

@@keepingwaltindisney I just finished #3, and saw the others are here also. One a day! Many thanks! Also saw your note on the quality issues and why. No prob.
I really enjoy these old Disney shows! But I had to laugh big time when at the end of this video they show the trailer for "Perilous Assignment!". LOL. "All real and nothing contrived EVER at ALL!!" LOL. So funny! Not a chance! There's nothing about it that's going to endanger actors and people that are doing that one! LOL.
remember seeing a few episodes of this as a kid, yea, nowadays all they do is whine about Marion being a slave owner like that was his only defining feature.
Walt Disney was both a visionary and a patriot. It's evident by the shows he produced. No one else did with animation what he accomplished. He was a capitalist before it became a dirty word. Work hard, follow your dream and magical things can happen. His creative talent comes by once in a lifetime. Today, he would be dismayed. The company of today shares none of his values. I thank him for enriching my childhood and planting the seeds of patriotism within me. If you think you can guess my politics let me say: I would vote for TwoNuts the Squirrel before 90% of the people in Congress today. Label that!
All you miserable old people, ( i am one) when is the last time you actually watched a new Disney movie? They still make good family fliks. The world is not going to hell!!! Just enjoy rhe freaking movie!!!
Were he here Walt would feed ever man jack running his creation today to the fans he entertained and educated for decades, then have them arrested for everything they should be arrested for and then some. Thank You Governor for stripping them of that special status they should never have been given.
Have you got S6.E13 Tory vengeance? I’ve looked and looked but can’t seem to see it in your channel. I’ve held out waiting for parts 1, 2 & 3 to come up in your playlists before I started watching the story.
Lol this was shot in California I live in both Carolina and CALIFORNIA. Carolina is lush and green California is dry like the movie and dusty . Should of shot it actually in the low country
Growing up, I watched these on a PBS reshowing. I miss the old Walt histories. Disney and PBS both have become useless. More LGTBQ+ grooming crap and little if any history or nature shows unless they are biased to some lib agenda. Boone and Crocket was another two Walt brought to life. Ron and Walt would fire the whole lot if they saw what they did to the company or what they have promoted.
The real problem is that some fans of yesteryear and nostalgia can’t separate what Disney does today and what Walt Disney did back then. It is possible to just not participate in what you don’t care for and enjoy and find happiness in the parts of Disney that appeal to you. That’s what I do, and in so doing, I find a lot of joy in these programs!
Charlesmaurer You spout a lot of rhetoric with nothing to back it up. Be specific. Did you find Frozen, Pocahonta, Little Mermaid and Alladin offensive?
yea nice try being a disney apologist, there is in fact footage of disney employee meetings where they make it very clear they are all about influencing kids when it comes to sex, and yea they are pushing it quite a bit, even show a clip awhile ago the Raven Star being told they wanted her to have her character come out as gay, and even though the actress is gay herself, she pushed back saying that wasn't what her character was.. Right now they are pretty pathetic, caught between pandering to their communist buddies in China or pandering to the woke mob that barely even watch their movies in the first place....... there really nothing to say about Frozen or Little Mermaid since in general nothing there, Pocahontas is pretty horribly inaccurate in both their portrayal of Native Americans and Pocahontas even if they did get that Native American activists to play her father, while only a fool would be offended by Aladdin, considering all the characters were of the same ethnic group.

Walt would not approve of today's Disney. Such a sad story how he built an empire on American values only to see it become what it has.
