So the car wasn't purchased with the navigation option or package from factory? -I guess the navigation software is loaded into the car but locked behind a software lock.

If I set the speed limit to 250 km/h, it will void my warranty or the dealer won’t see it? I’m planning to change it back to 190kmh every time I have to go to the dealer

Yes can set your own limit like for a teenage drivers.

Qualquer reprogramador de centralina retira o limite de velocidade. Têm é que pagar e, se o carro tiver na garantia, preparar para perder garantia de motor, pois também vai aumentar a cavalagem do motor a combustão em cerca de 20-30 cvs

I have got a volvo s60 2021 T8 PE with the speed limit. I lease the car for 2 years. Can volvo se this if I turn it in for service?
And if so can I reverse it back before I turn it in for service?

Any electronic tinkering can be reverted back to stock specs before you give it for service, so no worries there mate!

Ensam Varg interesting that noone responds to this sensible question. The price will be visible once you connect your DICE to the car and a laptop with VDASH. Search youtube for IngvarLe he has a video in which the comments talk about 324 euro. Also search volvoforums.uk for threads with vida, vdash and dice.

Why was it limited to 100kmh?
Probably intentionally set low so removal of a limit could be demonstrated safely.

Just shut it off in the drive mode menu. It's Volvo everything is programmable

Tbh I Love my V90 T8 Recharge,comfortable, spacious, safe
And yes for like 80, 90% of all my driving it’s bellow that speed, but I believe that all “normal” people that buy a car with over 300 hp will buy obviously taking in consideration those 10 to 20% of adrenaline driving , if I’m driving alone in a 3 lane high way no cars and I want just for the fun floor it? What if it’s an emergency?

Well I was already told by Volvo that they won’t change it and if I go somewhere even to Heico for example that can be considered Volvo’s AMG warranty void.....

Hi Ladislav .. You conveniently "forgot" to tell people about having the PIN code to the module to configure the car.
But else it's kind'a smart tool.
And by-the-way you know what aquaplaning is??? 142 km/h in that rainy weather??? It's not GTA5 or D5T5 ...
And you are not removing the max speed limit .. you are adjusting it! from 180 km/h to 250 km/h. If/when you hit 250 km/h on the "clock", it will stop you there.
The "180 limit" is actually Volvo's way to make it more safe on the road.
