The Raider 1 with external racks and Ordnance Exp. is one of my favorite ships.. another great video, Your Captain's Clinics helped me get within one more damage of killing a second ISD in the fleet, and coming in 2nd at my first Regionals....
How about taking the Raider with flight Commander and Boarding troopers? It's called a raider after all.... Thanks for the vid Ken, you guys are doing amazing work!
I was wondering on your take on the Arquitens-class light cruiser. I personally found it best as a flank support ship, employed similarly to how you might field light cavalry to charge across the battlefield and wound an opponents flank, while maintaining range due to its predictable maneuverability and excellent red dice armament.
Raider 1, expanded launchers, disposable capacitors, and gunnery team, double broadsides for 50-60 points. Both titles work fine but I personally think impetuous is better. Before launch of Corvus title BTW.
hi i was just wondering what was on that rebel corvette and if you have that and perhaps an extra corvus model for sale. Great vid though these are really helping me teach my friends who are just getting into Armada
Dennis Sänger sorry could you explain a little more? Not entirely sure which part you’re referring to. In case it answers the question Ken fired side-arc, then front-arc, then Impetuous. The first two A-Wings he killed were in both front and side-arc, the third was entirely in the front arc but the Impetuous title allows you to make effectively a third attack against one squadron from any hullzone (including one you’ve already fired from).
Master Of The Fleet that is the answer im looking for. I missunderstand the Situation. You are right i have forgotten the Impetuous title. Thanks for the explanation
Master Of The Fleet Hey! I’m actually watching and rewatching that same section and trying to figure it out. So you can effectively make 3 attacks, one out the front, one side and then another one anywhere via the title, yeah? So is this example two turns in a row, as you show more than 3 attacks?
Wintersonne when you flak out of an arc you make an attack roll against every squadron in arc. Impetuous operates differently as it specifies that you can attack a single squadron in addition to your two regular attacks. Does that clear it up?
@@motf7552 I'm sry but I have another question. In another video, u have a very different looking nebulon b. What is that. Thx for the help and I love it vids.
The ability to tie up points is definitely one to keep in mind when using these. In a recent game, my raider didn't make it's points back in kills, only wounding a handful of a-wings and killing a gr75, but it drew one of my opponents mc30s away from the main fight, meaning that the mc30 wasn't very effective for it's much higher point value and overall i came out with the win as a result.
I think the video is great, I love how you guys show how to navigate the ship, which is arguable more valuable than how to upgrade it. If anything, just add a sticked comment to the top of the comments with a little description of that change.
Id fly them similarly to raiders actually as a threat to other small ships. Overall the hammerheads have been pretty lack lustre in my experience so far! -Vet. Cap Ken
Hammerheads work in numbers. 43 points for a torp with OE and racks is very cheap and lets you run 6+ easily. Keep them together and force your opponent into a wall of torpedoes
I know this is an instructional video, but your Ordnance Experts re-rolls have been impeccable!
Haha yeah! Some of those rolls were insane!
More Battle Reports please. Thanks for the great work.
Haha definitely! Probably when Wave7 hits.

These are absolutely great, Vet Captain Ken. Thanks. Keep ‘em coming!

Hey nice! Congratulations on your placement at Regionals, glad we can help! Hope our little gift pack came your way.

Not Yet but the we will be on the look out.. Thank you, keep up the good work.....
The How to Fly videos are excellent! Keep up the good work
Is that one model the Corvus? Also thanks for these videos!
Haha yes it is the Corvus! Except i am not skilled enough to paint the markings on
Well done Ken - great vid man.
Your videos are awesome thank you for the tips. 😎
Thanks! Hope it helps!

Thanks for the kind words!
Sadly the interaction and timing between Flight Commander and Boarding Troopers does not work.

I thinks its a great ship, im always on the receiving end of them though!

Both the corvus and cr90 are from Mels Miniatures, thats where we get them from!
Could you do a gozanti/gr75 video? Maybe an interdictor video as well.
No problem !
interdictor please. i have a hard time finding a way to use it for something else than overpriced ISD babysitter :p
If your rerolls are this good in games, I never want to play you. XD
How is the Raider able to attack more then once from the same hall without gunnery team against the Awings at 11:05 ?

In addition Gunnery Teams do not let you fire at the same target from the same hull twice. Perhaps you are thinking of Advanced Gunnery.

Y does the cr90 have extra engines?
Look up the Sundered Heart

Is it worthwhile considering taking 2 of these in a list, or is that just a waste of points?
Two is fine, it just depends on what the rest of the fleet composition is and what their roles are.
-Vet. Cap Ken
I always take 2 with the Racks and ord.exp. they are scary to the enemy and really tie up more points than they cost.

Raider II got better because of HIEs and D-Caps combo. Still, Raider I is very good.
Eric Klink definitely! We made this pre-Wave 7 so we’ll probably have to go back and update it because of the introduction of HIEs.

Would like to see your take for how to make hammerheads work and be worth their points rather than squeeze in a CR90 for slightly more

Does Flechette Torpedos still work if Tycho uses Scatter?
PS: Delete all A-Wings. No A-Wings. Just Monika.
Yup, because its not a critical effect, it happens beforr scatter is spent!
You keep saying "Raider" like "Radar"
No sir. Say it with me. "Ray-der"
Nevar!
