For her mom NOT to be with her daughter when she gave birth explains what caused the girl's low self esteem. She was trying desperately (as many young women do) to feel special, loved, and cared about. Really sad commentary😭
Her mom said she did not go because she didn't support her actions. Clearly she is there now, and she has a father around. A parent can do everything text book right and these situations can happen. Everything is not a parent's fault.
If I'm preaching to my daughter every day that its best to wait to be doing adult actions when she's an adult or she gonna be dealing with adult situations and problems at a young age. If she dont listen then I might do the same cuz if I go into a delivery room with her imma say to her every cm she go up and every cramp she feels, YOU CAN'T HEAR, YOU WILL SURELY FEEL. if that makes me a bad mother then so be it. Call me what you want. I know that I've preached to both my 17 year old son and 15 year old daughter, day in and day out. They have seen me struggle with and without their father and that's something they should not want for themselves.

I was 22 when I had my son, and my mother was in the delivery room. No one was going to keep her out.
Right or wrong my daughter knows I'm going to always be there. They are not perfect and as parents we're not perfect,but you can bet your last dollar when it comes to my children I will be there for them until I take my last breath.

@@thejourney4445I am so sorry. I stayed in the hospital room with my daughter (I didn’t trust her husband) until she was discharged. Even though she had her baby, she was and is, still my baby and I made sure she was alright.

If the parents don't teach them better then they won't break that soul tie. They will spend the rest of their life mistreating that child and others because he doesn't want her and with someone else.
Everytime that Mom in yellow says anything it pisses me off. Got the nerve to have an attitude in court but refused to support her daughter during the birth of her grandchild because she was having a hissy fit when the consequences of her own bad parenting showed up.

I’m with the judge! I waited….I’m 38 with a 10 month old. He’s my only, my pride and joy! However, mom-life is overwhelming at times. Dad and I are together and it still can be a bit much at times. He’s a blessing and I’m so thankful for him.
I advise these young women to WAIT until you’re MARRIED and MATURE ENOUGH to make that choice with your husband so your child doesn’t have to hear “baby mama” and “baby daddy.” There’s nothing wrong with doing it the right way.

Clearly the parents didn't know how to delivery the message of tough love so it was appropriately relayed by the judge. This is why alot of kids are so lost today bc they don't listen to adults. If their parents don't say, they don't hear it and it still takes a village.

And please stress the point of staying in school this young man sounds like he may have about a 3rd grade education I will never forget the entire time I was growing up my mother stressed that more than anything even to the point of threatening to come to my school for entire day and sit through every one of my classes if need be what happen to that type of tough love it should still exist and would solve so many of these problems we see in today's society!!!!!!
Honestly it really is. I started watching these clips when I was about 19 during the beginning of the pendulum and I saw that this and whatever is going down on divorce court isn’t what I want to and to try to listen to their advice. I am 20 now btw and me and my boyfriend seem to be doing well and I use their advice especially when it comes to communication
@@ddnquestion1 I'm late but yes. My son is a junior in high school and he's on honor roll. He plays sports and he has a job. He wants to go to trade school after he graduates, which I applaud. College isn't for everyone but knowledge is universal. We are an educated family and that will continue. We've been building his credit also. He will not be a statistic. 💪🏾💯

I had my daughter after I got my bachelors and went to get my masters when she was 1 year old. I’m now in the peak of my career and we are both doing very well. Her dad ended up bailing out and turning into a completely different person since then. She’s 5 now and he hasn’t seen her in nearly a year. We have been broken up for the last 3 years. But, I have a fiancé now who takes good care of her and has risen to the occasion of being her father and my soon to be husband. Life is not perfect and sometimes things don’t go according to plan. I never expected I’d be a single mother and marrying someone else who is not the father of my child. But honestly, even with that, my life is really really great. I travel the world with my daughter and take her to see so much. I also travel with friends and my fiancé and I are headed to Rome next Summer.
The support from my family is amazing too. No, I wasn’t married when my daughter was born, but I was stable and had a good head on my shoulders. Seeing these cases with some of these people makes me sad. They’re so young and have not lived life before popping out multiple kids left and right with just anybody. It’s sad.
