I own the Stoeger STR9c and it has been a reliable firearm for me. I use that as my back up when I am in the woods.
I have the SC and MC, very underrated brand. Only negative is support.
I have the SC and its fantastic! Solid, well built, feels great in the hand, no jams after 500 rounds. There is nothing better for the price!
I just got the SC as well, beautiful and great gun, its my EDC CCW
I bought my Stoeger STR-9 in April 2022 for $520.00 CAD, which is $385.00 USD today. It came with 3 10-round magazines, 3 backstraps, a magazine loader and cable-lock. By the time I took possession of it it was't until January 2023 that I finally got to shoot it at the range. I bought various brands of 9mm ammunition that I've put through it, and there was no issue with a single round of any of them. It literally cycled fantastically, anything I put through it so far!!! I put hundreds, maybe even a thousand, rounds through it. I love this gun.🙂👍
Great, concise first impressions. Looks to be a good pistol, bang for your buck.
Thanks Gary!
You're welcome!
Mine has stopped firing after only about 20 rounds
You find any concealed carry holsters that work well with that light?
I purchased one around July for $250.00, the only thing I disliked it came with one magazine.
that threw me off, too. Gimme' 2, at least
For me I work in hospitals and can't bring my pistol in the hospital so it stays in my car. I bought it because it was cheap and reliable, and if it was ever stolen out of my work van while I'm in the hospital, it's better than losing one of my $1k FN pistols.
Do they have metal detectors at your place of employment?
I need two or more magazines for this weapon, as here in Brazil it is difficult to find them.
