She gets to dash in, use 2 shields in a row that are too big to destroy, then dash out for free, leaving you at half hp, and her nearly full. It literally feels like you're fighting Riven with armor pen and spellvamp built in, which is Riven's biggest weakness. No sustain, or built-in pen, which they just gave to Ambessa for fun ig

Tier 3 boots give the team that has them and extra 3750 gold worth of stats in lategame that the team that doesnt have t3 boots will never be able to get. Its like having Ornn on your team, but while Ornn needs 16 levels to upgrade the whole team, meaning you need to pick a comp that scales into lategame (therefore sacrifice the early), t3 boots reward players for picking early game champs that can snowball, and making that snowball stronger. On top of all this, this change while it encourages players to look at objectives, it also will lead to a significant increase in coinflips early on in the elos most of the playerbase plays, thus downgrading the quality of gameplay.
First game is true power of new champ and top lane impact compared to all other lanes. Good jungle, I think you should've took drakes, bot and mid played along. But none of it matters, when she is able to do this to leona, varus, sylas and elise on one team
I was distracted paying attention to the volibear the whole game, it was rough seeing him fail the dive against the ambessa (at least that was what it looked like in his first death), if only he build tank to be able to play the game and not lose tower at 10 min

10:30 you point out that you did kinda leave top hanging to prop up others but that only stalls an issue in a fed toplaner. Ambessa is about being aggressive and stomping from there which she did. I do not see the issue, you won your victories and she won hers the only difference is she had less pushback so she was able to roll over y'all. Its not really the champ its just being a toplaner thats fed
Yeah that a brass carried the fuck out of that game, but there a lot of top laners that would do that if fed like that. Nasus, Darius, aatrox would probably have had a similar outcome going 10/1 or whatever coming out of lane phase. Jungle gap as always of course. Couldn’t possibly put any blame on the 0/9 voli lol
I don't think Ambessa was as much of a problem as azzapp thinks she was. Frankly, I would expect a Riven to do similar in that game in place of Ambessa. Look at the amount of damage the rest of your team did. You did kill bot quite a few times, but at the end your adc + support's damage numbers are basically equal while Sylas + Volibear did less than Ahri alone.
7:57 he was suprised/frustrated about being killed under tower. He's a playing an early game assassin and is 3 levels and an item down to a late game bruiser/diver. There should not be a world where he wins that.

I agree Ambessa has so bad design because all that shield and heals. And the movment creep is so freaking insane.. I lost a game where we had one ambessa on other team and we where stomping and then ambnessa just took over and kill 1v5 evrytime and we lost the game.. Shit champ.
This is why I stopped playing league. Tanks in that game are just unkillable assassins. No reason to pick an assassin when you could just pick Mundo or Ambessa or K'sante. Build 6k hp and gain the ability to oneshot for free.

Ambessa's laning phase is pretty similar to old yone. She crawls through early phase, then she got her ult and started running. Unkillable cuz she kept healing from her passive, and once she's fed she can just steam roll the entire game

But he pooled all his resources into mid and bot and took most of the kills on Elise. Now, against a squishy comp like the second game that's fine, but Elsie falls off late game. So in the first game it was doomed because bot lane didn't do anything with their lead and sylas didn't do anything with his.

The main reason voli got stomped was due to a simple mistake when diving top early. Then continued to bleed out which could have been avoided with a single gank. I'm not being ignorant though it's possible he still would have ran it down, but one gank can make a massive difference.

before i say anything, I'm a Bronze player and not good at macro.. but talking about your first game which you lost, taking it as a problem to solve... you did lose even tho you did everything perfectly, i guess you should've prioritized Ambessa early so she doesn't get a lead... that's the only solution for that problem not as a good league player but as a problem solver.
I would imagine his reasoning is that the ganks are gonna have more success rate on bot and mid with leona and sylas. Against ambessa, yes he could have went and ganked her but volibear should win early game and snowball, the problem is he fucked up his first dive and couldnt stabilize the situation

Especially after getting sylas ahead it's not hard to make a roam top and three man them to pretty much ensure the voli can get back into the game. Now, obviously it's mostly volibears fault, but junglers do have a tendency to play towards bot which on average doesn't do anything for most games except get prio for dragon
Against any regular toplaner ganking mid/bot like he did would've worked, 3 players + jungler getting a lead usually beats top But Grandma Ksante got her 400 years of collective design and nobody made the right move of banning her

I played game picking Ambessa yesterday. I got lead but after everybody got thornmail i stoped to have any impact at the game at all.
