For everyone who do not understand this thing about first round picks and lakers future… here is what you need to know: From 2026 to 2032 Laker own 6 out of their 7 first round picks( eve that one is protected), so even if they trade 2 first round picks, they will still have 4 first round picks. Also if they decide to blow up this team in 2 years, they would get 2 or 3 first round picks back for AD. So all this talk about futur is fake and it is coming from Lakers front office to get fans on their side.
So Dlo, gabe and wood + 2 first round picks for D Murray and D Theis Than Rui and 2-3 second round picks for Dfs Imagine lineup : Murray, Max, Dfs, Lebron, Ad And Austin leads the bench unit… imagine the defense of this starting 5 They would make finals for sure. Last year vs Denver you replace Rui and Dlo with Murray and Dfs to defend Mpj, Laker would be the team to wim that series 4-1
@@AISTheLakersShow To be honest, I am afraid of trading Rui and disrupting the team chemistry. Most of the time, right after a trade, the team tends to perform poorly for a certain period. Can we afford that, considering LeBron’s age and how much time he has left? I think it’s a difficult decision.…
people dont understand. this squad is still geling. we have the same players that made it to the wcf two years ago when they just got together. we got swept by denver. then last year we played better against denver. we lost 4-1 losing two of those games by 2 points. and we had no bench at all. wood and vando were injured. the only thing we really need is another big because our bigs keep getting injured. if you trade a bunch of players then youre starting your geling all over again. so youre actually wrong. they shouldnt make a lot of trades. plus theyre talking about trading gabe for valenciunes. thats two moves because were also getting rid of our worst player in gabe vincent
Horrible comment. This squad can't be "still gelling" if you just admitted this is the exact same team they've had for years. Yes, we do need a center, but definitely not because ours "keep getting injured" lol, we don't have one, and NEVER had one since we won it all, half a decade ago. Since then, AD has literally been all by himself, which is totally inexcusable to go this long (half a decade) without help. And absolutely NOT. We need a center for REBOUNDING AND DEFENSE. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF A CENTER. Valanciunas is the WORST RANKED DEFENSIVE CENTER IN THE NBA. And NO Gabe Vincent has been PHENOMENAL recently. He's literally our best 3&D player. Getting rid of our best 3&D player for THAT is a HORRENDOUS idea.
@adamhurley751 - spot on! We've had a Denver problem in the playoffs and are still gelling. JJ is just getting the hang of it. And we've lost 2 games on last second shots. The defensive transformation in the last few games is amazing. All this constant trade talk is clickbait nonsense. It's more likely little or nothing is going to happen before the trade deadline. I like this team and hate hearing all the doom and gloom.
What we actually need are for our injured play to make it back on the floor. We have three missing parts that are injured.
Needs another good center and a well energetic LeBron so he might have to play ⏯️▶️ less minutes or games 😊😊😊❤❤❤gogo lakes
If the lakers want to win this year or next , they need a 3rd option Center or forward. Could rest bron n have AD play his position
Rui knew AD would miss that shot
Seriously
Lets not be to negative. By Jan we could be in 4th place.
You still need to trade dlo for Sharpe and dfs.
Lakers need to either get Lavine to help Bron with scoring or get Myles Turner to start alongside AD
There 6 weeks left in trade szn. There is still plenty of time to make moves.
Nope time is a luxury lakers don’t have
@ we are only 2.5 back of the 3 seed, and we haven’t even played Hou or Dal yet. We have plenty of time to wait on the right deal.
Agreed!!

Don't trade rui
I like Rui but you need a legit 3 that can defend, shoot and has athleticism

I'm afraid that he'll just get jonas valecionas too
If it's just Jonas that's an issue but if it's Jonas and than at the deadline get a few other guys great but I'm worried lol
