Growing up in Jamaica 🇯🇲 before migrate to Canada 🇨🇦 as a teenager, I enjoyed tastees, but best patties where individuals bakeries and usually bigger and more meat, plus some had cabbage, calaloo, chicken patties and something called meat loaf which is like coco bread with meat of patties, and coco bread 🍞 was far more delicious
Tastee patty a the baddest because when me deh a yard everyday me haffi stop a halfway tree and pick up 2 , juicy beef good to but dem still can’t touch taste,, Pete,s patties a maverly if it still deh deh them sell very good patty too , mothers patty a fi late night when you can’t get nutten else fe eat 😮👌🇯🇲🇯🇲🇬🇧🇬🇧
I say it all the time. Country people don't get the best of Tastee or Mother's. It just taste off if it is not Tastee Half Way Tree/Cross Roads/Downtown Parade. Mother's Half Way Tree (either one) or Portmore. Juici Patty crust can buss head 😅 and the meat too mushy in my opinion. I love the curry goat patty from DH, my only issue when I had it, it was a bit salty
Great video, I agree juici patty is the best for shop bought beef patties in Jamaica. Slightly different from shop to shop as you noticed and taste completely different in the UK.
Finally some one who gets why Juici is the best, it's also what i grew up eating. Been telling people for years. Never had Devon House, but a freshly baked Tastee patty would beat Mother's. Disclaimer, haven't had a real Ja patty in 14 years, but the flavours are still strong in memory. Thanks for the views of home ✌🏿
😂 Chef, it's because you biased to juicy because tastee beef patty is better than thiers and to top it off, Sugar and Spice sells Tastee Patties but bake them better than Tastee in my opinion. Yeah, the curry goat patty at devon house is amazing
My youth mi nu like juice beef patties first time I try juice beef I throw out to each is own every body taste bud is different I never try Devon house yet can't wait it to go try it tastes is original I love it so u say urs is good someone else may not like urs

Devon House patties usually full up of the name eg . Lobster has plenty chunky lobster, i prefer Tastee beef patties but in some franchise Juici is nice 👌 👍

Tastee all the way mother's patty not even coming like beef , it’s like mystery meat i haven’t had Devon house just yet dont like juicy too much beef and it sick stomach when it a get cold plus they be opening up the patty in my face to add cheese that's crazy even worse microwaving it thats diabolical tasteee gets it just right everything spectacular 👌🏾😌😁🤌🏽🎉🎉🎉❤❤

Am from Westmoreland. Hammons patty,was very delicious.
I thought they were only in May Pen. They moved to Miami area but I don't know if it's the same recipe.

I just had juci patty today. I wasn't impressed at all with with the spinach patty. The spicy beef patty I give it 6 out of 10.
