Hyte Y60 + NZXT Parts = Perfection | GFUEL PC Build

- I built a PC for GFuel and it went like this. Using the Hyte Y60 to show off those GFuel Cans was the perfect idea. Using NZXT components made it even better. The goal for this build was aesthetics but also functionality. Besides the side fans being exhaust (hand no choice); the build is easily capable of being a daily driver for most people out there. The cans don't ruin the airflow which was a worry of mine before I started. The temps were ideal, but the CPU gets a bit warmer due to the side fans pushing all the hot air into the radiator. This only happened while gaming or doing GPU intensive processes. Couldn't be happier with this build! Thanks for watching.

Such a creative build 😍💛 we absolutely love it! Thank you so much for the support
Thank you so much 🙏
This case is beautiful! happy to see you getting big name sponsors!
Yeah the design is really nice! I appreciate that 🙏 Thank you
@@BuildsWithV You're welcome mate!
The can idea is cool
Thank you 🙏
Awesome ideas, well done!
Thank you 🙏 much appreciated
Couple of questions, why did not do intake for the Radiator fans (flip them over). Also, how did you plug all your AER RGB fans in sequence, why do you need splitter cables if you can just Daisy chain them all and plug them into the propriatory RGB header on the NZXT motherboard?
Congrats. Thats amazing!
What did you use for the letters on the front of the case?
Thank you 🙏 I used oracle vinyl and my silhouette vinyl cutter
Have you noticed any airflow issues thus far? Reason for my asking is because, I plan on installing an AIO into my Y60. Currently I’m air cooled (Noctua baby!) but wanted to add a lil RGB. Sweet looking build. Owning a Y60, I know exactly what it looks like 👏🏾👏🏾😎
So can I rotate the NZXT z73 so the hoses are on the bottom? I’ve seen mixed comments on it. I have mine mounted with the radiator on the top.
Yes you can. The biggest thing that matters is that the highest point of the radiator is higher than the pump. Jayz two cents has a great video explaining this better than me and it’s a great video overall to learn for sure.
lol aint this the guy who left the review on amazon for the graphics card i knew i seen it somewhere
I did but they ended up replacing the riser cable. Got it worked out in the end, wish it didn’t take so long but things happen I guess 🤷♂️
I was looking at the NZXT and HYTE combination but I was wondering what your airflow is like. The side/front fans are setup as exhaust right? Which makes the bottom fans the only intake?
Airflow is pretty good but it’s definitely better on the 011d. If the nzxt fans had a nice back side i would have put them as intake. That’s what I’d recommend but this build was more for aesthetics although still performed really well
Thermals are not that good in my opinion, my ROG 3090 runs hot, and the fans spin up loudly
Also, can you explain your choice to put the water cooler on the side instead of the top? Curious if you feel like this is a better approach? I have this case and am about to start a new build. Another video I saw they put it on the top. It looks like all your fans showing are pulling air out. Are your fans on the bottom pushing air in?
I only did it this way to be able to hide the hoses better than if the rad was up top. The nzxt fans I used only have rgb on the front so that’s why the side fans are exhaust and not intake. Ideally if you put the radiator on the side with the fans as intake, that’s a better setup overall because the rad avoids all the hot air from the gpu (I have that setup on my lian li setup and it works amazing). This setup was for looks mostly. Although, it does perform very well as is. I did a bunch of benchmarking and all the temps stayed low-ish without any issue. Up top rad is perfectly fine, plus up top you can have a 360 rad vs a 240 which is nice. I always prefer side but with fans as intake.
@@BuildsWithV Thanks! Subscribed...
@@stoneycase5440 no problem at all and thank you 🙏
@Steven Emerson@@BuildsWithV i figured you were going for the aesthetic purpose as well. my solution to having my fans on that side set to intake is to get a custom fan shroud to hide the "back". But to add onto op's question, the case seems to have been designed with a lot of space on that side area to leave room for a rad, so it'd almost be a waste not to put an aio there imo! just my 2 cents :)
I LOVED the case, looking to build a pc myself but this case apparently lacks expansion slots for a gpu like MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB VENTUS 2X OC, is there a different version of the case I can consider?
That GPU would fit in this case no problem. Are you looking for a case that you can use two GPUs into?
@@BuildsWithV
No but I will only use liquid cooling for the CPU and nothing else so I m looking for good air circulation inside, temperature is apparently a problem acording to Gamer Nexus.
The parts:
Intel i7-12700K 12 core 3.60 GHz
Asus PRIME B660M-K D4 Intel LGA1700 DDR4
RTX 3060 / 3060TI (depending on the best price I can find either on)
Neoforza NMUD416E82-3200DB11 1.35V Black Faye 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 (planning on 32gb)
MSI MAG Forge 100M Tempered Glass 2x RGB Fan 120mm ATX case (before I found this case)
Samsung 2tb SSD (no HDD)
High Power HPE-700BR-A12S 700 W Power Supply
MSI Mag CoreLiquid 240R V2
Sorry for the long reply, I am super new to this and all the technicality gets confusing.
Thank you.

🙌🙌
Right, you’ve done quite a few builds and I have to say, this one is very, very good. Nicely done on the RGB cables going through the cans. Great idea and adding the name to the case, too.
Yep, I approve 👊
Thank you Ivan 🙏 Yeah this one is definitely one of my favorites, I’m torn between this and my personal. Both look so fancy 😅
Amazing build bro 👌
I want to ask about the cost if this build..
And the temperature after you test it..
Thank you 👋
Nice build, Name of the keyboard black and white?
Now I want Gfuel for my build too!🙈 Great job. 👌🏼
Hi, witch is this cable mod ? (The black and white one)
did u bought 120mm nzxt fan 3 pcs on top and 1 140mm ?
I noticed you touched the chip with your finger. I've always been taught that it's critical you not touch the chip because of oils and dirt, etc. What are your thoughts?
You might be right, I’ve never had any issue but I only do it for the video 😅 kinda a pat on its belly 😂 can always clean with alcohol before you apply the cooler and paste.
Nice work!
Thank you 🙏
How come Gfuel never shouted you out for building such an awsome pc
Was wondering if you have a discord cause I wanted to chat about building. Gfuel pc that I’m working on
