The project is definitely worth it because now the chickens have a new toy. This adds a bit of variety to the chicken's everyday life! The mobile is great to make with children. My 7-year-old daughter and I had a lot of fun making it and thought it was really nice that the chickens accepted it so nicely. Just try it!
