    Love this review. . . . I just started to getting into Cafe racer/ Enduro style Ebikes. . . . I ordered the EKX X21 on Ali-Express( 1.5 month delivery time). Suspension is butter . . . You should review it too.

    This very similar to the kind of riding I do with my Ariel rider xclass. I absolutely love it. It has a good bit more power and suspension travel as compared to the bullet (especially the v2 xclass with the 250mm rear shock). I upgraded to a dnm burner rcp2 rear shock with 350 on spring and the ride is amazing offroad. I’ve put nearly 600 Hard miles on it without it issue so far.

    The front wheel doesn’t sound very smooth. Is it how it supposed to be with e bike?

    I have one to run my Border Collies I keep pedal assist at 1, and use the thumb throttle to feather the speed while I am pedalling at 1

      Cool! Yeah they can be pretty useful with all the different settings and assist modes.

    Thanks for the video. Can you please advise what lift rack you had the bike setting on?

      Thanks! It's actually a motorcycle lift but is only good up to about 200 or so pounds.

    If you could choose just 1, which would you pick: Raev Bullet GT, Revv 1, or Engwe M20? Would the upcoming GT X change your opinion, or is there an option you'd choose over these 3 in a similar price / style?

    Hello Swanky Cat, for some reason I can’t get into E Bikes. I had a nice one and road it for a couple of months and sold it. Riding motorcycles kinda spoil me I guess. 😅. I’m not knocking anyone who rides them just I couldn’t get used to them. Getting old I guess. Good article. Stay safe. James

      I totally get that. I'm surprised how much I enjoy mine compared to my dual sports. The fact that I can ride with my wife and kids really makes it a lot more appealing right now though, and we have SO MANY cool spots to ride just a few minutes from home apposed to the hour ride up north for any good motorcycle spots.

    Thanks for the review! So when pedaling at higher speeds doesn't actually help drive the bike why pedal at all? Might as well use the throttle. Is the handlebar throttle variable then or just an on/off switch? I want to buy the GTX mostly for dirt trails and hoping it varies the power for slow technical sections and mild hills.

      True, at top speed you're just pretending to pedal. Might be good for a little exercise, but probably pretty pointless lol. The throttle does have some modulation but it's hard to tell how much. For a while I thought it was just low and high but I think there's actually way more modulation than that, just sort of finicky trying to make it do what you want. Does get more easy to control with some practice though!

      I put almost 200 miles on my GT Bullet. In pedal assist 3 and full throttle I definitely notice a bump up in the speed if I start pedaling. At 165 pounds and no additional accessories on the bike I’ve gotten it up to 29 mph, this was on a flat blacktop trail with no hills.

    I have this bike. Do you get any light clunking noise from the front shocks at all? I do.

    • @SwankyCatProductions
      @SwankyCatProductions  11 місяців тому

      Mine would bottom out and make a clunk at first. After I cranked the preload up (left fork tube) and the compression damping (right tube) all the way up (actual once click back from all they way, since all the way actually locks it) it stopped.

      Here's an affiliate link for it (so I make a small commission if you buy anything from the site). It's a decent lift if your bike weights less than 300lbs. I use it for my dual sport motorcycles all the time and it's really nice to not have to bend over the whole time lol.
