Ghana was “Colonized over the last 2000 years”?
That’s quite an unforgivable blunder coming from a historian.
Ghanaian colonization was from 1831 (Southernmost area) / 1901 (all of Ghana) - 1957
Nice video overall!
You know it comes from a westerner. Expect anything!
The leaders are not rich in thinking so in an actual fact we are rich but we look very poor
We are rich in peace

Proud Ghanaian. It so sad this politicians killing us and now dollar is almost 8 cedis
Yes, Ghana is so rich that some school children lie on their bellies to read and write in schools because the government can not provide furnitures for the school. It is also so rich that it can't build make shift bridges and some students have to walk in a river to get to school and wear the wet uniforms in school the whole day. This is how rich Ghana is.
Don't mind the rubbish some of these UA-camrs keep painting to get cheap subscription🤣
Thank you for not responding in the Jingoistic manner typical of the ashantis
I feel like the vast majority of people responding positively to this video do not live in Ghana. I've been here for my entire life and it feels like I'm in the Twilight zone listening to this guy talk.

RICH COUNTRY BUT POOR PEOPLE 😥😣
I don't think the narrator has ever been to Ghana.
Rich in natural resources just like the rest of the continent but still very poor economically
The creator of this video must be tripping, that Ghana is rich.
Those corrupt politicians have stolen everything.
I mean everything.
@Project P do you see the amount of people in need in the country ? Even the lack of constant water and light in most neighbourhood? In a rich country the money is given back to the citizens...You are talking about GDP...You're the one writing nonsense.
@Project P Rich with fake leaders, at the end of the day we are not happy... We don't benefit from that wealth..
@Project P 🤣🤣🤣
@@YoungMesrine that's in some places. In others people live happy, safe lives.
Ghana is rich as the President said and with good governance, we can make good use of our resources. The trouble we have now is the current opposition party that seeks to destroy the image of Ghana to the outside world for its political gain which is very stupid. Because if by destroying the image of your country to foreign investors then when coming to power how will then encourage the investor to come because you are in power.
Very rich in mineral resources but still very poor cost of living is very high
I was bron in Ghana
Good job,About 70% of resources in Ghana come from western region
Takoradi is the capital of western region
Welcome to oil and gas capital takoradi
Joseph - Who, except you, cares what region of Ghana its resources come from. The fact of the matter is those resources tend to have little impact on the quality of lives of everyday Ghanaians. Why be proud and boastful about that?
@@MrOu83 I want to no your problem jealousy

Ghana will only continue to grow if corruption, which is rife, is eliminated.
Delusion of grandeur. When you visit Ghana, this will curated image will unravel
