Dynasty Warriors 8: XL CE - Wu Story Mode 10 - Battle of Yiling (Ultimate)

This battle was a looot longer than I remembered. You've got a big stage with a lot of enemies and a lot to fight through. Also a Gan Ning to save, which you have to drop everything to keep him alive. For once I saved someone and to save him you have to stick close to Gan Ning when he rushes ahead and get trapped with him by Shamoke's ambush. After that he's fine. The Stone Sentinel Maze in this game is, ehhhhh, more of a cave than a maze. Infact its not a maze at all, you just have doors to open.
I'm playing as Ling Tong here, sporting his DW6 weapon. It's alright, fun to use but not overly powerful or anything. His musous are pretty good.

Gan Ning was treated like crap in DW8. If he’s killed by Shamoke, he just dies like he was nothing and seemingly no one really gives a damn about his death. Even though he’s been around the story since the days of Zhou Yu...

I always enjoy seeing SSX in Green. Plus the inverse and having white legs is really cool. She looks great pretty much in general with the color change. Yes, SSX is my favorite character, why?

Play as him if you're in Free Mode, or finish the stage before he reaches that area at all. That's really the only way.
