Toluca is an amazing and beautiful place and we have to my my opinion the best food within Mexico cities , we have the best food in the country 😋
I'm from Toluca, I recommend you the next time you come back, go to the volcano, it's really beautiful, go to Valle de bravo, or malinalco it's close from here and rally cheap and beautiful.

Great video. I live about 40 minutes by car from Toluca city. In Toluca city and Metepec there are a lot of places to eat and drink. There are a few museums to visit. The colorful houses that you point in the video, it's an unsafe neighborhood. Greetings.

Have you ever been in Mexico Estado de México?? At the north area as Cuautitlan Izcalli as invest to retired , it is so close from Mexico city and have everything to give the american retired people good quality life... I visited Mexico City and I think that this place need some invest it could be cool for retirement and heritage a land with value ... principal is in the Valle of Mexico and I can drive to many differents towns, and its not too expensive as buy in Mexico city..

I'm from a town close to Toluca and Metepec, I liked your video, but I think you should do more research about those 2 cities; personally I think the best time to visit is either during la Quimera, a cultural festival hosted by Metepec town, and during the day of the dead in Toluca, where the Feria del alfeñique takes place, there is a lot going on during that time. Toluca as well has a lot of small museums and the Cosmovitral has more history than being a botanical garden, the whole stained glass has a story. Recently the local government remodel the Plaza de los mártires and the plaza nex to the Cosmovitral, so I'm excited to visit the city again and eat some chorizo tortas from the portales! Oh and forgot about the Volcano and the archeological site of Teotenango!
Thanks for sharing men! Your videos are so cool. That's my city (I'm not currently living there) but I was kind of having some memories back from there as you were walking around of those streets and the main squares , of course the fooood!, also I had half foot -half in Metepec and Toluca (my boyfriend was renting an apartment in Metepec I spent days over there, it's a nice and quiet place though). I have to say that for me was unpleasant town of Toluca but actually I miss it a bit , the Botanical Garden I guess hehehe is amazing and Enchiladas as well!!

Toluca is probably one of the less interesting cities in Mexico, not pretty at all neither
Yeah wouldn’t really go out of my way to visit there with all the other options there are, but if you have to go there for some reason like us there is still somethings to do and see I guess 😁
Mainly Bc Toluca is a place for business not tourism
